DIVISION POPULATION DEVELOPMENT FOR SOCIAL STUDIES ( ARAL.ING PANLIPUNAN)

1. The Division of floilo City will conduct Division Population Development for Social Studies (Araling Panlipunan)Skills and Talents Contest on November 27.2018 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at R.G. Hechanova Memorial NationalHigh School. Jaro, Iloilo City.
2. The contest aims to provide opportunity for learners from public and private elementary and secondary schools as wellas learners from the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED). Special Education(SPED) and Madrasah/Muslim Education Program (MEP) to showcase their talents and skills through exhibitions oftheir products. sen,ices and performances.

4. There will be top three (3) winners for each areas, however, only the FIRST PLACE and the winning coach of everyevents shall automatically be the official entries for the Regional Level.
5. Supplies and materials shall be provided however. for Jingle and Writing and Singing Contests, participants shouldbring their musical instruments.
6. Enclosed are copies of Working Committees. Contest Officials and Committee Chairpersons are required to attend thebriefing on November 16, 2017, 3:00 PM at the 3rd floor Division ofiloilo City.
7. See Attached copies of DepEd Memorandum No. 168 S. 2018 for the Specific Guidelines of the2019 Festival of Talents.
8. Expenses relative to the Conduct of this activity are chargeable against Local Funds, Subject to the usual accountingand auditing rules and regulations.

2019 NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF TALENTS

1. The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of LearningDelivery-Student Inclusion Division (BLD-SID), will conduct the 2019 NationalFestival of Talents (NFOT) with the theme Celebrating Diversity Through thePerformance of Talents and Skills for Sustainable Inclusive Education inDagupan City from January 28 to February 1, 2019 (inclusive of travel time) to behosted by DepEd Region I. The official logo for the NFOT is provided inEnclosure No. 1 .

2. The 2019 NFOT aims to provide opportunity for learners from public andprivate elementary and }econdary schools, as well as learners from the AlternativeLearning System (ALS), Indigenous Peoples Education (!PED), Special Education(SPED), and Madrasah/Muslim Education Program (MEP) to showcase their talentsand sltills through exhibitions of their products, services and performances, and toprovide opportunity for teachers and learners to explore the culture of the host region.
3. The 2019 NFOT shall showcase talents and skills in the following areas:
a. Technolympics for Technology and Livelihood Education andTechnical-Vocational-Livelihood,
b. Sining Tanghalan for Music and Arts,c. Nationwide Song Writing and Choral Group Competition co
sponsored by DepEd and the Rotary Club of Manila,d. National Population Development for Social Studies ('Araling
Panlipunan),e. Pambansang Tagisan ng Talento for Filipino, andf. Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL).
4. The number of official delegation per region is indicated in Enclosure No. 2entitled General Guidelines on the Conduct of the 2019 NFOT.
5. The specific guidelines for each skills exhibition are provided in the followingenclosures:
