There is a large movement to include Arts into STEM and call it STE(A)M, because the Arts foster great creativity and all great breakthroughs in Maths and Science, in particular, require creativity. STEM or STEAM is about integration and collaboration. In addition to subject-specific learning, STEM aims to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, and collaboration skills. In our case it is the latter that we need to be focussing on. The critical and creative thinking, the problem solving, the student driven learning, independent learning. You are all Geniuses, you are in Charge of your learning and you are expected to change things. Students are expected to Use their HANDS to build/make/learn about something that is in your HEART (something that you are passionate about) and this will improve your Mind.
