When PDF file are used, the following requirements shall still be followed:

- PDF files shall the greatest extent possible be created by generating them from the originalfile, and digitalizing should be avoided at the maximum.

- Document front sheet shall be included in the source file and the total number of pages, including Annexes, shall appear on the front sheet prior to converting to PDF. Thedocument front page shall always be numbered page 1.

- In all cases indexing through the use of the PDF bookmark function shall be utilized.

- As a minimum and depending on the size of the document, book marking shall be used forthe first three heading levels.

- Different page orientation within a single PDF file shall be avoided as this often leads toprinting problems.

- PDF files will be delivered without any restrictions enabled.

8.1 2D CAD DETAILED REQUIREMENTS

No references, internal or external, are allowed at the handover of 2D documents, i.e. thedrawing frame is to be included in the drawing file. This implies merging of all graphics fromall reference files used in the engineering phase. This also applies to CAD files generatedfrom 3D models.

Fonts to be used on drawings shall make easy distinction of similar characters (e.g. I (capitali), I (lower case L) and 1 (number 1)). Front size should be at least 3 mm high on printout.

SUPPLIER shall certify that it has conducted basic quality control of the documentation intheir systems including information imported from sub-contractors, suppliers and othercontractors for their part of the development.
