I promised you some photos of the graduation from June 20th,
2018! Here they are!
It was so much fun and the parents hung around for a long while
before leaving. Anyely and Diahana with Marbelis and Iris did a
great job of decorating the classroom into a festive place to
welcome the families and celebrate the graduation with their
children.

Here are the four teachers finishing up the decorations.
Iris is on the left setting up the chairs for the guests, Dahiana is facing the
camera, and Anyely and Marbelis are on the right facing away from the camera.
Marbelis and Mareily (Weslyn’s mom our cook for the year) came to help…..

Each of the children in the school had something to share with the parents of
what they learned during the school year. That was a very special time!
In this photo, Ashley is speaking. She
is standing next to Anyely. She is also
an evangelist and her dad is really
seeking – he was speaking with Sandi
just the other day and asked for a
bible.

Their
graduation gift
from the school
is a children’s
bible.
After everyone had an opportunity to share something that they learned we had
photo time with the families taking turns with having the cake in each photo. We all
shared the cake and ice cream which was a treat for all! They don’t usually have ice cream with cake.

MORE NEWS:
Back in 2011, we were told that we were going to get a new water system with
increased capacity for every home. The tube coming in from the right is the line
that is coming into my house from the main water pipe has arrived. And early this
coming week I am supposed to be connected to it.
The tube on the left came down from my neighbor and had 4 other using that line
which then went on down to my neighbors below me. This meant that if any of the
others were opening their faucets, sometimes we would not have water until they
closed their faucet. The difference now is that I am directly connected to the
main water, not in the middle of a small line.
WOW! It’s been Seven years! I am assured it is worth waiting for. Thank You
LORD of all!

We always take a vacation in July and begin our planning for next year around the
first of August. Classes will begin on the 20th of August pending our planning
schedule.
This year WE HOPE we will be starting A SECOND CLASS, hopefully in the
afternoons. More on that later.
Please keep praying for us!
Also, our first new student came by three days ago hoping to register for the next
class. They are from Angostura just on the other side of Manabao. A new village
for the LORD!
For those who are supporting us financially our scholarships will begin around the
end of August or 1st of September. The last day of the month is payday for
teachers. We need to buy groceries and replace supplies for students, pay our
breakfast cook and clean up the classroom. You know our needs.
The LORD Bless you! And Thank You!
Carol
