YELLOW JERSEY TIME TRIAL, TRACK AND PROGRESSMONITOR APP.

DESCRIPTION

DO YOU ENJOY CYCLING? DO YOU WANT TO PUSH YOURSELF FURTHER? EXPERIENCE NEW ROUTES AND STYLES OF BIKING?

THEN THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU!

THIS APP LET’S YOU CHOOSE THE STYLE OF BIKING YOUR INTERESTED IN AND AT WHAT LEVEL YOU FEEL YOU ARE AT, SO YOU CAN THEN GO ON TO FIND LOCAL ROUTES NEAR YOU TO FOLLOW.

YOU CAN GO ON PERSONAL ROUTES AND RECORD YOURPROGRESS OR JUST GO ON A FAMILY RIDE. ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED A ROUTE YOU CAN UPLOAD IT TO YOUR PROFILE AND COMPARE YOUR TIMES AND PROGRESS EACH MONTH.

This is the app Icon that would be shown on the phone.

This is the first page that would show up once the app is loaded, ready for the user to sign up or log in.

The visual to the right shows the log in page and what the user would enter into the app to become a member.

Facebook login shows an alternate way for users to sign up, along with using facebook as a social network forum to talk about the routes they have completed etc.

The visual to the left is an asthetical part of the app, the user chooses a jersey to represent themselveson their profile.

The right hand visual is where the user can select which style of bike riding they would like to do, so that the app can then find local routes suited to that style.

The left visual here comes after the user has chosen what style of biking they want to do. This page means the user can decide on the distance they want to travel and at what level of expertise.

Once the user has selected their options the app will then automatically go to the map and find routes based on the current location using GPRS signals.

Once the app has found signal, various routes will appear on the page.

This page of the app must be able to adapt to the turn of the iphone, as the user would use the pinch and drag gestures to view more of the map.

The two visuals here show how, once the user has selected their chosen route they can then see the name of the route and at what level they havechosen to ride it.

The app then uses the generic apple swipe gesture to start the route.

I have given two examples here because the right hand visual represents directions to a local skate park, as certain types of biking won’t specifically use bike routes but will want things such as skate parks etc.

These are the visuals to show the app once the user is on route, the app will be able to adapt again to the turn because the user will be moving during this part of the app.

The swipe gesture is used so that the app isn’t disturbed during motion.

The visual to the left shows the route the user has completed/stopped. The app shows the route like this incase they have stopped the route early or for a break and want to go back and continue.

If the route is completed the user can then swipe the app, which will then take them to the right hand visual showing their progression and results ready for them to upload to their profile page.

This is the visual for the page that comes after the ride is completed and uploaded to their profile.

The app has this page in order for the user to be able to see what styles of biking they have done, what routes they’ve completed and when.

The idea behind this page is so that the user can see their progress and keep track of it.

Here you can see how the drop down arrows would work for the user to see their progress.

Once they have selected a month, they can see each route and can then select each specific route for more details, such as avergae speed, time completed etc.

The last page of the app showed an option to shop online. The user can log into the website using the same log in details as the app and the website will then refer them to products tailored for their style of biking.
