About this Workshop
This special two-day FIDIC Contracts Module 1Aprogramme has been designed to discuss the new Era in FIDIC Contracts. The course will be highly practicaland includes active participation in ‘hands-on’workshops and discussion sessions. The workshop leaders are highly qualified in theirexperience of FIDIC Contracts and their disputeresolution mechanism. The language of the workshop is English.
The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) has,over the years, issued a number of standard documents for use onconstruction projects. The contracts which are currently in most common usearound the world are:1. The Conditions of Contract for Construction(The 1999 Red Book, successively replaced by the 2017 2nd Edition)2. The Conditions of contract for Plant and Design-Build (The 1999Yellow Book, successively replaced by the 2017 2nd Edition)3. The Conditions of Contract for EPC Turnkey Projects (The 1999Silver Book, successively replaced by the 2017 2nd Edition)

Robert Alloys Werth is on the FIDIC President´s List of Approved DisputeAdjudicators, he holds a diploma in International Commercial Arbitrationand has three decades of experience in international constructioncontracts. He has lectured extensively on FIDIC standard forms ofcontract and serves as Adjudicator, Arbitrator or Dispute Board Memberin International Construction Contracts

About the FIDIC Expert speakers
Husni Madi is a Jordan Civil Engineer, Adjudicator and Arbitrator. He is anaffiliated member and accredited trainer of FIDIC and chair of FIDIC TaskGroup 15 “FIDIC´s Golden Principles”. He is the founder of ShuraConstruction Management, a consultancy firm providing contractsolutions for the construction industry. He is an accredited Professionalin Scheduling (PMI-SP) and Project Management (PMP).
The training course provides the necessary knowledge forprofessionals such are Government Ministries and Agencies, PrivateSector Employers, Consulting Engineers, Civil Engineers, Contractors,Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Legal Advisers and all involved with theimplementation and management of Works Contracts.
