he Scheme for the welfare of
Prisoners will aim at:
1)Identifying case of
institutionalized offenders who
would need prolonged care,
protection and assistance in the
community after their released.
2)Providing a linkage between
prison treatment and community
placement as an important aspect
of the correctional process.
3)Mobilising resources for the
reintegration of ex-prisoners with
the Community as a self-reliant
and dignified individuals.
4)Rendering shelter, care and
guidance to such ex-prisoners as
are totally devoid of family
support, economic security or
personal resources to lead a law
abiding life.

a) . From children/wards mention in sub-para2
(i)(a) only once. at the time of their first
application/renewal. As the case may be of Pre-
matric Scholarship after the coming into force of
this revision (of 2011) to the effect that at least one
percent belongs to the relevant categories.
b) From children/wards mentioned in sub-para
2(i)(b) every year to the effect that atleast one

2. The Special School (applicant)
should be recognized by the
Directorate of Education.
3. The building required for setting
up of Physiotherapy Centre shall be
owned by the N.G.O/Special School.
4. The building/Premises should be
clean, spacious, well lighted and
ventilated to facilitate comfortable
learning by the trainers.
5. The building Premises should be
provided with barrier free access with
signages as per the requirements of
locomotor disabilities, visual
disabilities And speech/Hearing.
