Conclusions 33

LTE constitute a powerful and effective tool for overcoming the

“digital divide” in rural areas

Pre-IMS deployments can effectively accelerate VoLTE delivery

to fixed end-users, when specific features support (e.g.: PATS

requirements) is mandatory , thus enriching the SP’s offer and

providing a “zero impact” on user experience for legacy services

VoLTE architecture is perfectly suitable for exceeding the

telephony experience and delivering HD Video services across

fixed and mobile…
