Other ideas• Collage your map with patterns taken from

maps and other sources• Add in images taken by students• Use old road atlases / A-Z to add extra texture

and detail to the images• Use a range of mixed media to create the

map e.g. charcoal, poster paint• Build up the texture to create a 3D effect

using kitchen roll and PVA or papier-mache
