I FRANKENSTEIN is a modern-day epic: Frankenstein’s creature, ADAM, has survived topresent day due to a genetic quirk in his creation. Making his way to a dark, gothic metropolis,he �nds himself caught in an all-out, centuries old war between two immortal clans.As writer/director, Stuart Beattie said, “Mary Shelly’s story is about the creation of the �rsthuman being. �is is the story about that being becoming human.”

Keyword: Create, Dark, Horror, and �rill.Frankenstein story is all because a human tries to create another creature. I would like to focus oncreation for this project keeping the horror and creepy mood.

Typography: Typography appears on grid system from thin lines to whole letters as if it’sbeing drawn by hand (like designing typography).

At the same time, each part of a body such as a hand, feet, ear, face, leg...to whole body shapewill be drawn with lines, unknown numbers, and geometric shapes.

Style frames 01

Concept 01It starts from dark background (the background colors vary according to thescenes) with lines creating grid. Type appears on the grid, and a line becomeslengthen. Camera follows the line changing the scene. �e line creates anothergrid to show other credits. As the scenes change, parts of Frankenstein’s bodysuch as hands, arms, foot, legs, ears, eyes, faces, and whole body �gures showup by actual drawing.

Concept 02Concept 02 is almost same as concept 01. However, it happens on papers onthe wall. A bunch of papers are attached on the wall. At the beginning,camera is zoomed in a paper not showing the whole wall. Camera moves toeach paper showing and drawing parts of the body same as concept 01.At the end, zooming out camera, it reveals the whole wall with the movie title.
