STIR WELL BEFORE USERustins Quick Dry Blackboard Black Paint
provides a matt black non-reflective surface for
blackboards and photographic work. Conformsto the Toys (Safety) Regulations 1995,BS:EN71Part 3. For interior & exterior use.
PreparationApply to clean surface. No primer or undercoatnecessary. Previously coated surfaces should berubbed down to provide a key. If existing finish is notin good condition, remove with Rustins Strypit Paintand Varnish Stripper.
ApplicationSTIR WELL BEFORE USE. Apply liberally with a fullbrush, using the largest brush practical for the job.Synthetic soft tipped brushes are recommended. Donot overbrush. Do not apply to warm surfaces or instrong direct sunlight. Sand lightly with fine abrasivepaper before applying another coat. Two coats arerecommended. When maintaining your finishedsurface, wipe off chalk dust when necessary withdamp cloth. When re-coating is necessary clean witha mild detergent and water, allow to dry and re-apply as above.
Re-coating TimeDrying time approximately 30 minutes. Further coatscan be applied after two hours. Do not use below10ºC, in damp conditions or if rain is imminent.
CoverageThis tin will cover approximately 3 sq m per coat.
CleaningRemove as much paint as possible and return to thiscontainer. Brushes should then be cleanedimmediately with water. If the brushes become hard,they may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer orRustins Cellulose Thinners.
Disposal (pollution prevention)Some local authorities have special facilities fordisposal of waste paints/varnishes /coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
StorageStore in a cool dry place with the lid tightly closed.Protect from frost.
HEALTH AND SAFETY Contains a mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one [ec no 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-o.May produce an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach ofchildren. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wearprotective gloves and eye protection. IF SWALLOWED: Calla POISON CENTRE or doctor if you feel unwell. IF ON SKIN:Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinsecautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contactlenses, if present and easy to do.
