Blackboard Black Quick-drying non-reflective Acrylic paint for blackboards and photographic work. Conforms to Toys (Safety) Regulations BS.EN71 Part 3 1995. For interior and exterior use. Clean brushes with water. STIR WELL BEFORE USE Rustins Quick Dry Blackboard Black Paint provides a matt black non-reflective surface for blackboards and photographic work. Conforms to the Toys (Safety) Regulations 1995, BS:EN71 Part 3. For interior & exterior use. Preparation Apply to clean surface. No primer or undercoat necessary. Previously coated surfaces should be rubbed down to provide a key. If existing finish is not in good condition, remove with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper. Application STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Apply liberally with a full brush, using the largest brush practical for the job. Synthetic soft tipped brushes are recommended. Do not overbrush. Do not apply to warm surfaces or in strong direct sunlight. Sand lightly with fine abrasive paper before applying another coat. Two coats are recommended. When maintaining your finished surface, wipe off chalk dust when necessary with damp cloth. When re-coating is necessary clean with a mild detergent and water, allow to dry and re- apply as above. Re-coating Time Drying time approximately 30 minutes. Further coats can be applied after two hours. Do not use below 10ºC, in damp conditions or if rain is imminent. Coverage This tin will cover approximately 3 sq m per coat. Cleaning Remove as much paint as possible and return to this container. Brushes should then be cleaned immediately with water. If the brushes become hard, they may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Cellulose Thinners. Disposal (pollution prevention) Some local authorities have special facilities for disposal of waste paints/varnishes /coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses. Storage Store in a cool dry place with the lid tightly closed. Protect from frost. HEALTH AND SAFETY Contains a mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3- one [ec no 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-o. May produce an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTRE or doctor if you feel unwell. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
