Document 1 Facts1. GEFA’s core competency is its ability to clean and process bio residues to premium fuel standards

2. 75% of GEFA premium biofuel products are diverted from a landfills or suburban disposal areas and the balance are virgin timber harvesting residues & market deprived virgin growth and post industrial residues

3. GEFA looks for developmental regions that have “dense” volumes of diverse and low cost biomass resources

4. As a general rule, product selection for resource conversion is chosen through value chain optimization. Under no circumstance is a resource used as a feed stock for one commercial product when a higher value product application is available.

5. GEFA uses advanced blending capabilities to find the perfect balance of unit price and fuel efficiency.

Document 2 Facts

1. GGEF-ABA’s core competency is its ability to maximize yield efficiencies through market access diversity

2. GGEF-ABA focuses on co-op harvesting whereby all categories of timber size, species and level of quality and maturity can be directed to the appropriate markets

3. In simple terms, the whitewood portion of the tree is directed to domestic and global market that are buying wood for its fiber strength and fiber structure.

4. After the whitewood has been “separated”, the wastes and residues are directed to energy based market applications or lawn and garden applications

5. GGEF-ABA works closely with GEFA to insure that fuel grade resources are cleaned and processed to meet premium grade fuel standard for export. The non spec boiler fuel resources are directed to the domestic boiler fuel markets
