Who in the world do you

think you are?

“Who am I, that I should go…?” Exodus 3:11

Moses might have thought he was:

• Abandoned

• Undeserving

• Damaged goods

• Beyond hope because of how badly he had sinned.

• How you see yourself tends to become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

“As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” Pr 23:7

II. Who does God say that I am?

1. God says I am…Loved

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us…” 1 John 3:1a

2. God says I am…His Child

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1

3. God says I am…Blessed

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Eph 1:3

4. God says I am…Chosen

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”

5. God says I am…Adopted
