training you cant win the game. Its true no champion wins the race

without the practice. Our training is unique because it is centered around the heart, the business

and the company. Developing in you the best leaders, friendships

and mentorship we can give.

Mentorship in Mary Kay is unlike another, when respected and truly reciprocated, it could b the thing that changes who you are today into who you want to become for the future...I would not be here

without both

Being part of both the training, this includes company events and my

Mentors NSD events, and the mentorship is what has developed my leadership and proven to be the thing that sharpens me the

most and fills my cup the most. I cant even begin to put into words

the value and the urgency to being part of training/company/mentor

events. It will change you if you for the better, which changes your

life, your family and circumstanc-es.

Its important that you plug into not just your training but you also make an effort to be part of all company events and any NSD/

Mentor events that your director is part of. You have to put yourself in the space of the great/legacy

leaders. You have put yourself in the space where wisdom gathers

to learn what it is you need to learn to take you to your next lev-

el.

This year I challenge you to be part of all that is going on, to better you, further you, and increase you!

Please read instructions below, for complete details in learning to book my time. *Booking Career Chats/ Marketing events:

Working our business with integrity means we are sharing the opportunity either for training purposes, or from a need to want to share with this special person who exhibits something in her that says she is a “sparkler”, “Question Asker”, “and

or operates with integrity, a place of commitment, ethics and of golden rule mentality. Booking full circle appoint-

ments is taking the gift God has given you and using it to its entirely. It is not our position to ever make the decision for others, its our position to always offer, and offer in a way that says you thought strategically about this

too. Taking into account are the emotionally healthy, can they if they decided to actually work the business (physically able, do they operate from a code of integrity and ethics?

I want to make sure we are all using our time wisely, and effectively. My time when given to you, means no one else gets it, which means the better we can all use our time better the BIGGER we all will BUILD. My time is given in priority

to those active, going to training and communicating and participating in mentor conference calls/events. Please help me in reading the details below to be sure you as a building lady knows what to do, and what I need from each of you

• Since there are many people booking my time, we have a app that you will need to download onto your phone with

my available times. You will need to check that app for times and then book appropriately (by direction listed) so that I can get this on my books; HOWEVER, please know that things and times may shift, as they often do when

working with people, so I need to also text me the cc info, so that I can be sure that time is truly a good time, doing both these actions is the ONLY WAY I will put it on my books. When texting and booking details please

include: FULL NAME, NUMBER, and time and place (if it is face to face (F2F) or over the phone. Or if

you are booking a Marketing Event ME (marketing events need to have 5+ people confirmed). Market-ing events are the time that can be booked head of time but MUST have the 5 + coming for me to come. If you are

out of town you can book a day for me to come and work with you, must communicate with me to make that hap-pen. If you are needed to get a group of girls together to do a Marketing Conference call we can do

that too. Need 5+ people for that as well. time.

Once I get the text, and have confirmed and written it on my schedule I will send you a text back that says "GOT IT". I

will get that to you as soon as I can (other than Sundays when I do not work and am spending time with family –phone is off), if you don’t receive that text from me in 24 hours I probably didn’t get it.

Time is first come first serve, and cannot be reserved, please let me know immediately if one falls off the schedule (not

fair to me or others to keep that time) must be very intentional with my time please, all career chats need to be con-

firmed for me to hold them with you.

keting Q&A sheets on our website under Team building.

• Booking Marketing Calls where multiple people can call in (just book a time for me for you to have at least 3 or

more)

• Booking Marketing Events, this can be done in your home, in a coffee shop and is great for out of town girls to get

me to come. Book one with me, there is a certain number of people you do need to get to have this event, talk with me and we will go over details

ALL CAREER CHATS AND GUESTS NEED TO BE CONFIRMED WITH CARRIE 24 HOURS PRIOR OR DAY OF!!!!

(How it works Practice career chats work) I love booking Career chats, because regardless if they find interest in

Mary Kay or not, we have built a relationship for you and your customers or family, an awareness of what you can of-fer. If they sign or not I believe its great training for you and allow me to share more with you how company out

works. I encourage you to let me do as many Career Chats for you at the beginning, until you can play back each word

I say, it will make you a stronger team builder if you do.

Step 1 is to book it: When you book someone, please TEXT the time/date/ her name/number. If she has been facialed, a little bit about her, etc. Please give me 24 hours. The reason for this is, I may not get the message in time,

or most likely already have something in that time slot. With that being said, do work to book her to listen w/in 24/48

hours from the her meeting you from a facial or skin care class, this is best time to find more people open to listening and have not had too much time to think. This sometimes does not always work but is something to shoot for.

(Her name) this is (Carrie with Mary Kay) I am so excited! Do you have a quick minute? I have the privilege of being mentored and trained by my Director, I learning how to answer questions that people might have about our company, My director asked me who I knew that was nice

enough, helpful enough, classy enough (or sharp enough) who would help me with my training, and(Her name) I immediately thought of you! (don’t pause here keep going)

_______It only takes about 30 min, there is no obligation what-so-ever, and just for helping me you will get a, gift from me isn't that

great?! (Her name) is there any reason why you would not want to help me? Great, is doing this during the day or evening better for

you? Great, I am doing my training on _______day and __________day, which is best for you? At time_(two time options)_or this time________________ Great!

Thank you so much, (Her name) My director does work off a schedule so I want to thank you ahead of time for being someone I can count on! I

look forward to talking to you on _________ at (time)____________.

Have a great day or night....

Step 2 - PLEASE BE SURE TO CONFIRM 24 hours before and the day of with her and with me. If appointments are not confirmed I may not be there.....

What to say when confirming your career chats:

(Her name) this is (Carrie with Mary Kay), I am calling you to remind you about our appointment on(Her name), I am super excited about sharing

this time with you, thank you for sharing your time with me on something so important to me! Just for being someone that I can count on to hold it you are going to be getting a fabulous little gift from me! ____ its____ dsy at____time, is that still good for you? Great, and ____Can I count

on you to be there? Great! Just for doing this you are helping me out so much with my training and I just wanted to say Thank you! See you (or talk to you) then!

Remember to WORK THE NUMBERS… A third of everything we do work out. In all Scenarios’ in MK, bookings, guests to a party

people who say they are going to come, etc. So always invite a third MORE…if you want 15 to come you invite 30-40.

If they say “they hope to be there”, or that they “have to see” or words like “might, maybe, or will try”, means no. Unfortunately some people just cannot say no, understand that if these words come out, in my experience, they will not be a person we can count on.

If you want to go a step further - Be prepared for success! Have material ready, Agreements, marketing packet, Marketing CD/link. You

can find the recruiting packet info on carrieeddingsfoster.com under recruiting tab.

Step 3: Come ready to learn (if face to face please work to be there 10 min prior to the appointment, if phone career chat, I will

be calling you right on the dot). - Your job is to say nothing - but to come to learn....please be on time, with your notebook to take notes, and better yet your Recruiting notebook to learn how I go thru it. Listen to the questions I ask, how I ask it, when I ask it, watch my face my

body language. (recruiting notebook is under recruiting tab on our website carrieeddingsfoster.com)

Step 5: Know MY SCHEDULE and have your Datebook - my schedule will be sent out via a special voxer group. Be sure to check it at the beginning of each week and end of each week. Sometimes I can turn this appointment into other appointments so be prepared! If for some

reason you do not have my schedule, go ahead and book the career chat, we will work it out on the schedule. It is far easier to move something around then work to get it. Be prepared to do your own if for some reason I cannot make on these times (why important to take notes when I am

doing them for you) .

Step 6: have a goodie to give them for doing this for you. Please bring a lipstick, lip gloss or mascara to give them especially at training

events, so they feel special.

Step 7: FOLLOW UP AND FOLLOW THRU!!! And expect great RESULTS. I would already go ahead and have some extra Look Books, with sales slips ready to hand them when they SAY YES, so you can get them selling right away when they sign...PS have a pin for them as well, so we

can pin them at our next training, what a great way to prepare for new team members!

Please understand that most people really just don't know what Mary Kay has to offer, so it is OUR JOB just to share what is out there, we don't need to make the decision for them, don't be intimidated to book these... so JUST SHARE, if they say no, that is okay, it is for your training re-member...and if they say yes! WOW! You are growing!
