WHERE DO I LIVE?

I am from Africa.

MY HABITATI am found in grasslands, savannas, and woodlands.

WHAT DO I EAT?I am meat eater. I like to eat buffaloes,

zebras, impalas, and wildebeest.

MY FAMILYMy family is called a pride. There are about 4- 20 females and their cubs in

my pride. My pride usually has 1-3 male lions. The female lions do most of the

hunting.

MY FUTUREI am in trouble

because lions are being killed by hunters.

Lions are also dying

because of disease. I am

close to being

endangered.

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF LIFE?

Lions are in danger. We need to try to help the lions because if we don’t then these beautiful

animals will become endangered.

• Lions can run as fast as 30 mph.• Lions can jump 12 feet high.• Lions live for about 12 years in the wild.

WHY I CHOSE THIS ANIMAL.

I chose the African lion because I love cats. I like to

watch Lion shows on the Animal Planet. African lions are just really cool animals.
