I AM A PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER
Hi! I am NoahI am Noah! An aspiring Product Design Engineer and Web and Graphic Designer. My favourite colour is purple, I am a huge fan of minimalistic and functional design. My largest interests lie in smart cities and the future of the technology that will build and sustain them.

2.4 Final IdeaAs mentioned previously having learnt and mastered basic HTML and CSS, I wanted to challenge myself to create a login section for the blog, where I would allow users to register, join a newsletter, enter competi-tions, write and share reviews and save their favourite posts. This lead to the formation of the following tag line for the final idea.
Final IdeaTechnoBanter intends to provide a service whereby a user can search and upload a huge database of reviews about commercial and indus-trial technology.
Fig. 2.0 TechnoBanter in early stages
The following pages of the report will define the intended users of the service and look to possible competitors currently on the internet, before documenting the initial research and development involved in setting up a server in order to begin designing an initial interface so that user testing can begin. It is important to consider this before be-ginning development, to ensure the user can be considered through-out the design process.

It can even turn on your lights or make you a coffee.

StreetWize
Product Design, BranD Stretch
StreetWizeStreetWize is a concept model of a spherical companion drone & docking station for driverless vehicles. The drone in theory, automatically deploys itself and flys ahead of the vehicle detecting any potential hazards on rural roads.

Storyboard 1. StreetWize companion drone in rural environments. Airbags are deployed in the event of an unavoidable collision.
Storyboard 2 & 3. Drone’s view of rural road and passenger view from inside vehicle.
Urban Environments & Emergency Services. To prevent mass amounts of drones in urban environments, drones should return to vehicles and vehicles should instead communicate to fixed place units fitted within city infrastructure such as street lamps. Modules can be fitted to the drone to change its use, for example, ambulances can attach first aid kits, the drone can clear the roads ahead of the ambulance and then deliver the first aid kit before the ambulance arrives, providing a way to communicate to paramedics while awaiting their arrival.
Final Design Iterations. A few different designs considering the final spherical shape.
Final Design. Renders of the final design, showing LIDAR sensors and internal propeller design.

Concept Car
CAD, 3D Printing
Concept CarA concept BMW Sports Pick-Up Truck. The model was developed using surface modelling techniques in Solidworks, working from a set of orthographics of a BMW M6. The surface model was exported as an STL file and sliced in Cura for SLA 3D Printing.
Surface Modelling. Using existing blueprints of a BMW M6 for proportions within Solidworks.
Model Renders. Some simple renders of the finished surface/solid model.
Siemens Jack Analysis. The concept vehicle was used to run human factors analysis within Siemens Jack.
3D Printed Model. The model was exported as an STL, sliced and 3D printed in ABS using an SLA printer.

3D
Third Dimension RecyclingA concept for a service to fit the brief for designing a sustainable 3D printing product or service. The general idea is to offer incentive for people to recycle by allowing them to see where their recycling ends up and to provide discounted 3D printing filament to interesting projects.

Discover different 3D printing projects from Universities, Schools and Start-Up projects from around the UK that need your support.
Like different projects from the discovery page to save them in your likes tab. You can then keep track of them and share with friends.
The recycles tab keeps track of what you have been recycling and shows how many credits you have received.
The average household produces, on average, 40kg of plastic per year. That is enough for upto 40 Spools of 3D printing filament.
On average 15 million bottles are thrown away per day. This is rising by around 4% a year in Western Europe.
Plastic can take up to 500 years to decompose in landfill. By using our service you help reduce the amount going to landfill.

2. You Select 3. We RewardYou select where you would like your recycling to go. Our network is full of Universities, Schools and Start-up proj-ects that will help the development of 3D printing technology. You pick which proj-ect to send your spools and we will take care of the delivery.
We reward your account with credits once you have selected who to send your spools to. Save up your credits and exchange them at any of our partner’s stores. We want to reward you for help-ing save the environment and develop advancing technology.
1. We collectWe collect your recycling weekly. We take it back to our warehouse where we update your account with your weeks recycle count. We then shred the recy-clables into small pellets, melt them and extrude into spools of 3D Printing Fila-ment.
