4. WORK WITHIN THE LOCAL RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL CONFORM TO LOCAL MUNICIPAL STANDARDS.WORK WITHIN STATE RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL CONFORM TO THE LATEST EDITION OF THE STATEHIGHWAY DEPARTMENTS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES.

5. UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT, CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE NECESSARY CONSTRUCTIONNOTIFICATIONS AND APPLY FOR AND OBTAIN NECESSARY PERMITS, PAY FEES, AND POSTBONDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WORK INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS, IN THE SPECIFICATIONS,AND IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. DO NOT CLOSE OR OBSTRUCT ROADWAYS, SIDEWALKS,AND FIRE HYDRANTS, WITHOUT APPROPRIATE PERMITS.

6. TRAFFIC SIGNAGE AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS SHALL CONFORM TO THE MANUAL OF UNIFORMTRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES.

7. AREAS OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF PROPOSED WORK DISTURBED BY THE CONTRACTOR'SOPERATIONS SHALL BE RESTORED BY THE CONTRACTOR TO THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION ATTHE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE.

8. IN THE EVENT THAT SUSPECTED CONTAMINATED SOIL, GROUNDWATER, OR OTHER MEDIA AREENCOUNTERED DURING EXCAVATION AND CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES BASED ON VISUAL,OLFACTORY, OR OTHER EVIDENCE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STOP WORK IN THE VICINITY OFTHE SUSPECT MATERIAL TO AVOID FURTHER SPREADING OF THE MATERIAL, AND SHALL NOTIFYTHE OWNER IMMEDIATELY SO THAT THE APPROPRIATE TESTING AND SUBSEQUENT ACTION CANBE TAKEN.

9. CONTRACTOR SHALL PREVENT DUST, SEDIMENT, AND DEBRIS FROM EXITING THE SITE ANDSHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANUP, REPAIRS AND CORRECTIVE ACTION IF SUCH OCCURS.

10. DAMAGE RESULTING FROM CONSTRUCTION LOADS SHALL BE REPAIRED BY THE CONTRACTORAT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO OWNER.

11. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTROL STORMWATER RUNOFF DURING CONSTRUCTION TO PREVENTADVERSE IMPACTS TO OFF SITE AREAS, AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO REPAIR RESULTINGDAMAGES, IF ANY, AT NO COST TO OWNER.

12. ENGINEER AND ITS CONSULTANTS SHALL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRESENCE,DISCOVERY, REMOVAL, ABATEMENT, OR DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, TOXIC WASTESOR POLLUTANTS AT THE PROJECT SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ASBESTOS,POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYL (PCB), DIOXIN, ACID OR ALKALI CHEMICALS, LEAD PAINT, AIRPOLLUTANTS, WATER POLLUTANTS UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS OR OTHER DELETERIOUSMATERIALS, ENGINEER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS OF LOSS, DAMAGE,EXPENSE, DELAY, INJURY OR DEATH ARISING FROM THE PRESENCE THEREOF OR EXPOSURETHERETO AND CONTRACTOR SHALL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE ENGINEER AND ITSCONSULTANTS FROM ANY CLAIM MADE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, MOREOVER, ENGINEERSHALL HAVE NO ADMINISTRATIVE OBLIGATIONS OF ANY TYPE WITH REGARD TO ANY CONTRACTOR AMENDMENT THERETO INVOLVING THE ISSUES OF PRESENCE, DISCOVERY, REMOVAL ORABATEMENT OR DISPOSAL OF ASBESTOS OR OTHER HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES.

UTILITIES

1. THE LOCATIONS, SIZES, AND TYPES OF EXISTING UTILITIES ARE SHOWN AS AN APPROXIMATEREPRESENTATION ONLY. 2. ANY PROPERTY LINE MONUMENTATION DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE SET ORRESET BY A PROFESSIONAL LICENSED SURVEYOR.

3. SYMBOLS AND LEGENDS OF PROJECT FEATURES ARE GRAPHIC REPRESENTATIONS AND ARENOT NECESSARILY SCALED TO THEIR ACTUAL DIMENSIONS OR LOCATIONS ON THE DRAWINGS.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REFER TO THE DETAIL SHEET DIMENSIONS, MANUFACTURERS'LITERATURE, SHOP DRAWINGS AND FIELD MEASUREMENTS OF SUPPLIED PRODUCTS FORLAYOUT OF THE PROJECT FEATURES.

4. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT RELY SOLELY ON ELECTRONIC VERSIONS OF PLANS,SPECIFICATIONS, AND DATA FILES THAT ARE OBTAINED FROM THE DESIGNERS, BUT SHALLVERIFY LOCATION OF PROJECT FEATURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PAPER COPIES OF THEPLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THAT ARE SUPPLIED AS PART OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.

5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AS-BUILT GRADES FOR ALL WORK IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY TOTHE RIGHT-OF-WAY DIVISION INSPECTOR FOR REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE.

EROSION CONTROL

1. PRIOR TO STARTING ANY OTHER WORK ON THE SITE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFYAPPROPRIATE AGENCIES AND SHALL INSTALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES AS SHOWN ONTHE PLANS AND AS IDENTIFIED IN FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL APPROVAL DOCUMENTSPERTAINING TO THIS PROJECT.

2. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT AND MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES, AND REMOVESEDIMENT THEREFROM ON A WEEKLY BASIS AND WITHIN TWELVE HOURS AFTER EACH STORMEVENT AND DISPOSE OF SEDIMENTS IN AN UPLAND AREA SUCH THAT THEY DO NOT ENCUMBEROTHER DRAINAGE STRUCTURES AND PROTECTED AREAS.

3. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE TO CONTROL CONSTRUCTION SUCH THATSEDIMENTATION SHALL NOT AFFECT REGULATORY PROTECTED AREAS, WHETHER SUCHSEDIMENTATION IS CAUSED BY WATER, WIND OR DIRECT DEPOSIT.

4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCING SUCH THAT EARTH MATERIALSARE EXPOSED FOR A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE THEY ARE COVERED, SEEDED OROTHERWISE STABILIZED TO PREVENT EROSION.

5. UPON COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF PERMANENT GROUND COVER,CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF EROSION CONTROL MEASURES AND CLEANSEDIMENT AND DEBRIS FROM ENTIRE DRAINAGE AND SEWER SYSTEMS.

INCIDENTAL CONCRETE

1. ALL CONCRETE SHALL BE CLASS "A-4" AIR ENTRAINED (4,000 PSI) IN ACCORDANCE WITHSECTION 217 OF THE 2016 VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ROADS AND BRIDGESPECIFICATIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.

TRAFFIC CONTROL

1. TEMPORARY PAINT STRIPES SHALL BE 4" WIDE, WHITE, NON-REFLECTIVE TRAFFIC TYPE.PERMANENT MARKINGS SHALL BE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL TYPE B, CLASS I. STANDARDSTO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES (MUTCD) &VDOT SPECIFICATIONS.

NOTES1. ALL MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION METHODS SHALL CONFORM TO THE HAMPTON ROADS

PLANNING DISTRICT COMMISSION (HRPDC) REGIONAL STANDARDS, CURRENT EDITION, ASAMENDED BY THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND ANY OTHER APPLICABLECITY ORDINANCE OR CODE.

2. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING ALL PUBLIC OR PRIVATE UTILITIES, WHICHLIE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AREA PRIOR TO ANY EXCAVATION OR CONSTRUCTION. ANYCHANGES TO THE PROPOSED UTILITY ALIGNMENTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED BY THE PROJECTENGINEER AS A PLAN REVISION TO THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FOR APPROVAL ASREQUIRED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR, AT HIS EXPENSE, OFALL EXISTING UTILITIES DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION.

3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE ONLY APPROVED MATERIAL IN THE BACKFILL OF UTILITYTRENCHES.

4. ALL UTILITY TRENCHES SHALL BE BACKFILLED AND COMPACTED TO WITHIN 0.33' OF FINALSUBGRADE ELEVATION AND GRADED TO DRAIN. EXCESS MATERIAL SHALL BE REMOVED AT THECONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. ALL FINISHED SLOPES IN UTILITY EASEMENTS OR IN RIGHT-OF-WAYNOT SUBJECT TO PAVING SHALL BE RESTORED WITH TOPSOIL AND SEED IN ACCORDANCEWITH THE CURRENT HRPDC AND CITY OF PORTSMOUTH SPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL NOTEXCEED THE MAXIMUM AS FOLLOWS - CUT SLOPE 4:1, FILL SLOPE 4:1.

5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY DRAINAGE TO RELIEVE AREAS THAT MAYCAUSE DAMAGE TO ROADWAYS. ADDITIONAL EROSION PROTECTION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLSHALL ALSO BE SET IN PLACE DURING CONSTRUCTION AS DIRECTED BY THE CITY OFPORTSMOUTH, THE HRPDC REGIONAL STANDARDS, AND VIRGINIA EROSION AND SEDIMENTCONTROL HANDBOOK.

6. ALL CONCRETE IN THE RIGHT OF WAY SHALL BE CLASS “A4” AIR ENTRAINED (4,000 PSI) UNLESSNOTED OTHERWISE.

7. ALL STORM DRAIN PIPE SHALL BE AS SPECIFIED ON THE PLAN SHEETS AND SHALL CONFORMTO CURRENT CITY OF PORTSMOUTH STANDARDS. ALL PIPES SHALL BE REINFORCEDCONCRETE TONGUE AND GROOVE.

8. ALL STORM DRAIN PIPE JOINTS SHALL BE DOUBLE-WRAPPED WITH 24” WIDE GEOTEXTILEFABRIC PER CITY STANDARDS.

9. PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OR EXCAVATION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CALL “MISS UTILITY” AT1-800-552- 7001 OR 811. IN ADDITION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CALL THE OFFICES OF ANY ANDALL PUBLIC OR PRIVATE UTILITIES AND REQUEST MARKING THE LOCATION OF UTILITIES THATMAY EXIST AND CROSS THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION AREA, WHETHER OR NOT SAIDUTILITIES ARE SHOWN ON THESE PLANS. UTILITY COMPANIES SHALL BE NOTIFIED 48 HOURS INADVANCE OF ANY EXCAVATION IN THE PROXIMITY OF THEIR UTILITIES. THE CONTRACTOR ISRESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR, AT HIS EXPENSE, FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO UTILITIESDURING CONSTRUCTION.

10. ALL STORM SEWER PIPES, DROP INLETS AND CATCH BASINS SHALL BE CLEANED OF DEBRISAND ERODING MATERIAL DURING THE LAST STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION.

11. AN APPROVED INLET FILTER SHALL BE PLACED AROUND ALL EXISTING AND PROPOSEDDRAINAGE INLETS.

12. ANY DEFECTIVE, FAULTY, CRACKED, OR BROKEN WALKS, DRIVEWAYS, HANDICAPPED RAMPSOR CURB AND GUTTER, AS DETERMINED BY THE ENGINEER, SHALL BE REMOVED ANDREPLACED TO THE NEAREST JOINT PRIOR TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE AT NO ADDITIONAL EXPENSETO THE CITY. PATCHING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

13. FRAMES AND COVERS FOR SEWER MANHOLES AND DRAINAGE STRUCTURES SHALL BE MADEBY CAPITAL FOUNDRY, DEWEY BROTHERS, OR APPROVED EQUAL.

14. ALL CURB AND WALKS TO BE REMOVED SHALL BE TAKEN OUT TO THE NEAREST JOINT.PATCHING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

15. RELOCATION, REMOVAL AND/OR REPLACEMENT OF ALL PERMANENT SIGNS SHALL BECOORDINATED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRAFFIC ENGINEERING.

16. ALL CONCRETE DRIVES SHALL BE 7” THICK MINIMUM FROM ROADWAY TO THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.

17. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING TO THE NEAREST JOINT ANDREPLACING WITH MATCHING MATERIALS ANY PAVEMENT, DRIVEWAYS, WALKS, CURBS, ETC.,THAT MUST BE CUT OR THAT ARE DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION.

18. WHEN MATERIALS WHICH ARE UNSUITABLE FOR FOUNDATIONS, SUBGRADES, OR OTHERROADWAY PURPOSES OCCUR WITHIN THE LIMITS OF STREET CONSTRUCTION, THECONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO EXCAVATE SUCH MATERIALS BELOW THE GRADESHOWN ON PLANS. THE EXCAVATED AREAS SHALL BE BACK FILLED WITH APPROVED SUITABLEMATERIALS. THE EXTENT OF UNDERCUTTING AND BACKFILLING SHALL BE APPROVED BY THEENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA.

19. REPLACEMENT OF PAVEMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED PLAN. ANYDEVIATION FROM THE APPROVED PLAN SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE ENGINEERINGDEPARTMENT, CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA.

20. MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE SLOPES ON DRIVEWAYS SHALL BE 12:1. DRIVEWAYS SHALL BE PLACEDTO NEAREST JOINT. ALL DRIVES SHALL BE CONCRETE IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.

21. ALL WATER METERS AND SANITARY SEWER CLEANOUTS MUST BE SET BEHIND THE CURBWITHIN THE CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY.

22. WATER SERVICE LINES BETWEEN THE WATER MAIN AND THE METER SHALL BE TYPE K COPPER.

23. ALL NEW SANITARY SEWER PIPE IN THE RIGHT OF WAY SHALL BE PVC C-900.

24. ALL NEW SIDEWALKS IN THE RIGHT OF WAY SHALL BE MINIMUM 5-FOOT WIDE.

25. A RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL WORK IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.

26. AN APPROVED TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN IS REQUIRED FOR WORK IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. ALLTRAFFIC CONTROL SHALL ADHERE TO THE LATEST EDITION OF THE VIRGINIA WORK AREAPROTECTION MANUAL.

27. ACCESS TO PARCELS IMPACTED BY CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES.

28. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT LEAVE THE WORK ZONE UNATTENDED WITH OPEN TRENCHES.

29. ALL CONSTRUCTION SITES, TO INCLUDE LAY DOWN AREA, SHALL BE RESTORED TO THEIRORIGINAL CONDITION IF NOT BETTER. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CONTRACTOR TAKEBEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE FOR RESTORATION PURPOSES.

30. AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS AND DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE CONTRACTOR ISREQUIRED TO MONITOR THE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES TO ENSURE THEY ARE INTACT,OPERATING CORRECTLY, AND IN THE RIGHT LOCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC SAFETY.

THE SITE IS BOUNDED BY DALEHOMES TO THE NORTH, COLUMBUS AVE TO THE EAST, LEXINGTON PHASE 1 TO THE SOUTH, AND GRAHAMSTREET TO THE WEST. THE SITE IS CURRENTLY ZONED URH (URBAN RESIDENTIAL - HIGH).

THE SITE IS CURRENTLY DEVELOPED WITH TOWNHOUSES AND ASSOCIATED UTILITIES, SIDEWALKS, AND AROAD LOOP RUNNING THROUGH THE SITE. STORMWATER SHEET FLOWS INTO CURB AND DROP INLETSCONNECTED TO A CLOSED STORMWATER SYSTEM.

EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS

THE SITE IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE X UNSHADED (AREAS OUTSIDE THE 0.2% ANNUAL CHANCEFLOODPLAIN).ELEVATIONS RANGE FROM ELEVATION 9.40 FEET TO ELEVATION 12.70 FEET (NAVD 1988) CITY OFPORTSMOUTH.

THE SOIL TYPES IN THIS SITE AREA ARE AUGUSTA-URBAN LAND COMPLEX AND TOMOTLEY-URBAN LANDCOMPLEX.

ADJACENT PROPERTY

THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES SURROUNDING THE SITE CONSIST OF MULTIFAMILY HOUSING TO THE NORTHZONED URH (URBAN RESIDENTIAL - HIGH), SINGLE FAMILY HOMES TO THE EAST AND WEST ZONED UR(URBAN RESIDENTIAL), AND RECENTLY DEMOLISHED EMPTY LOTS TO THE SOUTH ZONED URH (URBANRESIDENTIAL - HIGH).

CRITICAL EROSION AREAS

THERE ARE NO CRITICAL EROSION AREAS IDENTIFIED ON THE PROJECT SITE WITH RESPECT TO HIGHLYERODIBLE SOILS OR STEEP SLOPES WITHIN THE PROPOSED LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION.

EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES

ALL STRUCTURAL AND VEGETATIVE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES SHALL BECONSTRUCTED AND MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO MINIMUM STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THEVIRGINIA EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL HANDBOOK, 1992. THE FOLLOWING EROSION ANDSEDIMENTATION CONTROLS SHALL BE EMPLOYED DURING THE EARTHWORK AND DEMOLITION PHASE OFTHE PROJECT.

SILT FENCE IS UTILIZED FOR THIS PROJECT AND IS SUFFICIENT. THERE IS APPROXIMATELY 4,740± LF OFSILT FENCE WHICH TREATS APPROX 355,318± SF. THIS EQUATES TO 0.17± AC PER 100 LF OF SILT FENCE.THE MAXIMUM SLOPE LENGTH DRAINING TO THE SILT FENCE DOES NOT EXCEED 76± LF.

SAFETY FENCE (STD. 3.01)

A CONSTRUCTION SAFETY FENCE SHALL BE USED DURING CONSTRUCTION TO PROVIDE A PROTECTIVEBARRIER OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE.

TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE/EXIT (STD. 3.02)A TEMPORARY CRUSHED-STONE CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE/EXIT SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED. A CROSSSLOPE SHALL BE PLACED IN THE ENTRANCE TO DIRECT RUNOFF TO A PROTECTED CATCH BASIN INLET ORSETTLING AREA. DEWATERING DEVICE

THE DEWATERING BAG USED FOR EACH PROJECT MUST BE SIZED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE PUMP USED.DO NOT ALLOW A PUMP TO BE USED THAT DISCHARGES GREATER THAN THE ALLOWABLE RATE ALLOWEDFOR THE DEWATERING BAG TO BE USED.

2. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO SECURE ALLACCESS POINTS (GATES) AT THE END OFEACH WORKING DAY. ALL LOCKING DEVICESMUST BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED, ASNECESSARY.

3.05 - SILT FENCE MAINTENANCE1. SILT FENCES SHALL BE INSPECTED IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH RAINFALL AND AT LEAST

DAILY DURING PROLONGED RAINFALL. ANY REQUIRED REPAIRS SHALL BE MADEIMMEDIATELY.

2. CLOSE ATTENTION SHALL BE PAID TO THE REPAIR OF DAMAGED SILT FENCE RESULTINGFROM END RUNS AND UNDERCUTTING.

3. SHOULD THE FABRIC ON A SILT FENCE DECOMPOSE OR BECOME INEFFECTIVE PRIOR TOTHE END OF THE EXPECTED USABLE LIFE AND THE BARRIER STILL BE NECESSARY, THEFABRIC SHALL BE REPLACED PROMPTLY.

4. SEDIMENT DEPOSITS SHOULD BE REMOVED AFTER EACH STORM EVENT. THEY MUST BEREMOVED WHEN DEPOSITS REACH APPROXIMATELY ONE-HALF THE HEIGHT OF THEBARRIER.

5. ANY SEDIMENT DEPOSITS REMAINING IN PLACE AFTER THE SILT FENCE IS NO LONGERREQUIRED SHALL BE DRESSED TO CONFORM WITH THE EXISTING GRADE, PREPARED ANDSEEDED.

3.07 - STORM DRAIN INLET PROTECTION MAINTENANCE1. THE STRUCTURE SHALL BE INSPECTED AFTER EACH RAIN AND REPAIRS MADE AS NEEDED.2. SEDIMENT SHALL BE REMOVED AND THE TRAP RESTORED TO ITS ORIGINAL DIMENSIONS WHEN

THE SEDIMENT HAS ACCUMULATED TO ONE HALF THE DESIGN DEPTH OF THE TRAP. REMOVEDSEDIMENT SHALL BE DEPOSITED IN A SUITABLE AREA AND IN SUCH A MANNER THAT IT WILL NOTERODE.

MAINTENANCE

1. THE CONTRACTOR OR SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING EACH CONTROLMEASURE SHOWN ON THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN.

2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT ALL SEDIMENT AND EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURESPERIODICALLY AND AFTER EACH RAINFALL EVENT. RECORDS OF THE INSPECTIONS SHALL BEPREPARED AND MAINTAINED ON-SITE BY THE CONTRACTOR.

3. SILT SHALL BE REMOVED FROM BEHIND BARRIERS IF GREATER THAN 6-INCHES DEEP OR AS NEEDED.

4. DAMAGED OR DETERIORATED ITEMS SHALL BE REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY AFTER IDENTIFICATION.

5. SEDIMENT THAT IS COLLECTED IN STRUCTURES SHALL BE DISPOSED OF PROPERLY AND COVERED IFSTORED ON-SITE.

6. EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL ALL DISTURBED EARTH HAS BEENSECURELY STABILIZED. AFTER REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES, DISTURBED AREAS SHALL BE REGRADEDAND STABILIZED AS NECESSARY.
