In December 2017 the NOACA Board endorsed funding to conduct a feasibility study for Hyperloop.

BACKGROUNDThe Great Lakes Hyperloop System consulting teams are progressing the technical feasibility design. • Partners will reveal three alternative analysis to the

project’s Technical Advisory Committee • A comprehensive public involvement and outreach

engagement plan has been completed• Stakeholder meetings planned throughout the project

corridor in April and May

About the ProcessThe purpose and need for the outreach and engagement process is to provide information to specific stakeholders and the public, and to understand their perspectives regarding the potential impacts of the proposed Hyperloop corridor between Cleveland and Chicago.

The consulting team of Transportation

Economics & Management Systems,

Inc. (TEMS) was hired to complete the

Great Lakes Hyperloop Feasibility

Study including a Communication and

Stakeholder Engagement Plan.

• We will use the plan to educate our stakeholders

about the Hyperloop.

• NOACA will fully develop outreach activities as part

of a comprehensive public involvement process

• Seek the assistance of several MPOs located within

the project corridor to carry out these activities.
