HYDRO-PRO HEAT PUMP Heat from surrounding air is absorbed by the heat pump and transferred to the pool. For each kW of energy consumed by the Hydro-Pro heat pump, up to 6kW of heat is transferred to the pool. EFFICIENT AND ECONOMIC The Hydro-Pro heat pump is an extended season model and should be installed outside. The pump operates in ambient air temperatures down to -5°C and extracts heat efficiently from the air. An LCD display allows easy operation and all functions are microprocessor controlled. Hydro-Pro heat pumps are fitted with a flow switch to ensure the units cannot run without water flow, preventing damage. USE Hydro-Pro pumps are environmentally friendly because 80% of the energy produced is obtained from the ambient air, a completely natural and renewable resource. • Efficient R410a refrigerant gas used in the pump has no harmful effects on the ozone layer. • The cost savings of the Hydro-Pro heat pumps are excellent with a COP value of 6.0 when the outside temperature is around +15°C. • Hydro-Pro heat pumps are quiet running with the use of a low noise rotary compressor and fan. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY By using high quality materials like stainless steel, PVC and titanium for the heat exchanger, the Hydro-Pro heat pump is resistant to damage from chlorine or salt. To improve efficiency the pump is equipped with an oversized heat exchanger. SUSTAINABLE The unit is remarkably compact and well designed so it is easy to install. Installation guidelines are given within the product manual regarding the location of the pump and its electrical wiring. It is recommended to connect the heat pump with a bypass for the filter system to maintain flow rates and ease of maintenance.
