1. Bid Price:

a) The contract shall be for the full quantity as described above. Corrections, any

shall be made by crossing out, initiating, dating and re-writing.

b) All duties and other levies payable by the contractor under the contact shall be

included in the total prices.

c) The rates quoted by the bidder shall be fixed for the duration of the contact and

shall not be subject to adjustment on any account.

d) Each bidder shall submit only one quotation.

2. Validity of Quotation:

Quotation shall remain valid for a period not less than 3 months after the

dead line date specified.

3. Evaluation of Quotation:

The purchaser will evaluate and compare the quotations determined to be

substantially responsive i.e. which

a) are properly signed and

b) Conform the terms and conditions and specifications.

4. Award of Contract:

a) The purchaser will award the contract to the bidder whose quotations has been

determined to be substantially responsive who has offered the lowest evaluated

quotation prices.

b) Purchase committee will evaluate equipment; if it tallies all the standards and

specifications it will approve the contract.

c) Notwithstanding the above purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any

quotations to cancel the bidding process and reject all quotations at any time

prior to the award of contract.

5. Terms of Payment:

Payment will be made after delivery of the goods and acceptance of the goods

within reasonable time, as per specifications and verification in presence of the supplier

followed with satisfactory performance of the instruments and respective operational

training of personnel. Request for advance payment in any case will not be entertained.

6. Warranty:

Normal commercial warranty/Guarantee shall be applicable to the supplied Goods

7. Last Date for Submission:

You are requested to provide your offer latest by DT: 24-02-2015 up to 2.00 PM.

8. Opening of Sealed Tenders:

The tenders received up to 2.00 pm of Dt. 24-02-2015and the technical bid will

be opened at 3pm on the same day in presence of the tenderers or their authorized

representatives, if any.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED BEFORE SUBMISSION OF QUOTATION

1. The bidder is to furnish the following along with the bid

a) EMD @ 2.5% of the tender value

b) Detailed specifications of the equipment

c) Technical bid and price bid in separate sealed covers.

2. The technical bid of the tender should accompany an earnest money deposit

(EMD) @ 2.5% of the quoted tender value in the form of D.D. infavour of

the Principal, Government Polytechnic Nalgonda and payable at Nalgonda.

No interest will be paid for E.M.D. at the time of release. Request for adjustment

or part deposit of earnest money will not be entertained.

Tenders without E.M.D. will be rejected outright at the time of opening of the

tender. E.M.Ds. of unsuccessful tenders will be refunded after selection of

items. E.M.Ds. of successful tenderers shall be kept with us as part of security

deposit .The total security deposit of 10% of cost of the items (7.5%+2.5%EMD)

will be retained from successful tenders till the end of guarantee period and will

be returned after the expiry of guarantee period and supply being in condition.

3) The tenderers who are qualified in technical bid will be allowed to participate in

price bid.

4. Attested true copies of valid STCC/VAT Clearance Certificate, ITCC / PAN No.

Authorized dealer certificate should also be enclosed with the tender. Technical

Literature / catalogue as per specifications required for all items must be enclosed

with the tender. Documents related to previous experience in supplying the

equipment notified in the tender notice should be enclosed. Preventive and

Maintenance Service Facilities of sophisticated equipment shall be submitted with tender.

Applicable Govt. taxes, duties and octroi and other packing, forwarding,

insurance and freight charges for supply and delivery of ordered items at

Government Polytechnic, Nalgonda shall be mentioned against quoted rates in

the commercial bid of tender.

5. Delivery and demonstration (free of charge) is to be done by the tenderer at the

Office of Government Polytechnic, Nalgonda. If so desired, the tenderer

shall facilitate operational training courses of sophisticated equipment to users at

His convenient center and bears all costs.

6. Telegraphic/Telephonic tenders will not be entertained. Tenders received

after due date will be rejected out rightly.

7. The rates should be quoted only for the specification as mentioned in the

enclosed schedule. Extra/Alternative rates will not be entertained.

8. The successful tenderer will be required to supply the ordered equipment within

ONE MONTH of issue of the supply order. Failure to supply the materials within

the stipulated date may lead to cancellation of supply order and forfeiture of

earnest money deposit with the institution.
