    MISSION XIX: FIGHT CLUBAuthor: William GrosselinNEMESTS LABORATORY ARENA 3 (NA 3)The life of a clone is not easy in the Syhar Empire.When they are not facing the continual threat of thefanatical Griffins, they are forced to face one anotherin a demonstration of... NATURAL SELECTIONWell before the disappearance of Dirz, there was atime when the neuromancers vied for his favour, toone day be granted the ultimate reward: to be namedan omnimancer of a Project Nemesis laboratory. Todetermine who among them was the most gifted,games were organized in special laboratories calledArenas. These duels, between two Aberrationsboosted with mutations, were a spectacle ofbestiality, brutality and ferocity defuing imagination.OBJECTIVESThis mission takes place on two Levels. In Level l,each camp must recover as much genetic stock(Objective counters) as possible and deposit them intheir genetic accumulator. Once all stock has beencollected and deposited, the Level I portion ofthemission is completed.On Level 2 the players both field a single Aberrationthat has been boosted by a number of Mutationsequal to their faction's success during the mission inLevel L These highly modified Aberrations arereleased from their gestation tanks for the ultimatecombat. The player whose creation is victorious winsthe honor of the title of omnimancer!INSTRUCTIONSTo collect an Objective counter, a clone must simplymove over the square with the counter (or one of thefour adjacent squares around Objective counter 3).To deposit genetic stock, the clone only needs to endits move in a square adjacent to their respectivegenetic accumulator (tanks are provided with yourcopy of Rava ge 23 , or simply with a counter from theboxed edition of Hybrid).The stock thus recovered will be used to boost yourAberrations for combat on level 2.. Objective counter 1's represent commonMutation cardso Objective counter 2's represent rareMutation cardsr The Objective counter 3 represents a veryrare Mutation card

    SELECTING COMBAT GROUPSBoth players are representing opposing Scorpionfactions. The total number of ranks must be equal andagreed to by both players. The total number offighters available must also be equal; however themaximum number of fighters per side is 16.TRAPS, EVENTS AND OTHER COUNTERSNo Event, Army Event or Aura cards are dealt to theplayers. The Mutation cards are used as describedearlier.SPECIAL RULESLevel Io The interior walls of each tile have been torndown, leaving large open areas and bare

    flagstone. Only the four external wallsdelineating each tile are taken into account.o All of the fighters are placed in their half of thestarting zone (player I on the left, player 2 on theright). The Activation Sequence is performed asper the standard rules.o Sort all the Mutation cards according to theirrarity and shuffle them into separate draw piles.When each new piece of genetic stock is addedto your accumulator, draw one card thatcorresponds to the collected Objective counter.Your Aberration will make use of them duringthe final battle.. Only Rank I and Rank 0 clones are permitted tofight on Level l. Remember that only Rank Ifighters can activate Objective counters anddeposit genetic stock in the accumulator. If aclone carrying stock is eliminated, drop theObjective counter in the square the clone died in.The stock can then be recovered by any otherRank I fighter.. As soon as a clone is eliminated, a new clone ofthe same type replaces it and arrives via one ofthe two reserve entry points. It will be integratedinto the next Activation Sequence.Level2o The limit on each Aberration's Mutations is

    suspended for this battle. These experimentalcreatures are not expected to last and the victorwill not survive more than a few hours after thecombat.. The Aberration with the fewest number ofMutations is set free from its gestation tank first.Its player may choose to go first or secondduring the first round without making anActivation Roll.
