While combining aesthetic appeal and continuous insulation features, the aluminum sub-frame is fastened to the build-
ing with attachment L-brackets. This allows for continuous thermal blanket of insulation and a cavity for airflow. The
IRIS highly engineered curtain wall system separates the porcelain façade from the building structure.
Stainless Steel Mechanical anchors are inserted into the undercut drilled holes located in the back of the tile. As the an-
chors are locked into to place, four legs of the undercut anchors lock inside the undercut portion of the hole and safely
attaches the aluminum C-Brackets to the tile. The C-Brackets attach and transfer the load of the tile onto the aluminum
horizontal rails of the sub-frame.

ly a remarkable manufacturing achievement realized with the
Maxfine Series distinctive stone appearance that now extends un-
limited interior and/or exterior facade options when utilizing our
aluminum curtain wall sub-frame system with unsurpassed perfor-
mance.
The highly engineered Sikasil–500 structural silicone fastening system used to the adhere the 6mm thick slabs to the ex-
truded structural aluminum Omega Profile (as observed in the above photo) is responsible for safely carrying and/or
transferring the load of the 6mm thick slabs onto the exterior of the building envelope, guarantying the VFS meets and
exceeds all of the negative wind loads requirements. In addition, the air gap (or cavity), created by the offset sub-frame
also allows for an air/vapor barrier and a continuous blanket of thermal insulation, eliminates thermal bridging and
allows for the circulation of air for drying of any water that penetrates the 6mm wide open tile joints of the VFS.

GHS: Concealed undercut anchor system:
The GHS undercut anchor system uses horizon-
tal rails, which are attached to the vertical T-
Profiles and L-Brackets.
C-Brackets fastened to the tile with the Keil con-
cealed undercut tile transfers the load of the
tile onto the curtain wall sub-frame.
GHS System is used with 8mm and 10mm thick
porcelain slabs.
GHV: Exposed Anchor System:
The GHV exposed anchors attach the porce-
lain tiles directly to the vertical T-Profiles.
The exposed anchors are painted to corre-
spond with the porcelain slabs color being in-
stalled
The horizontal rails ae eliminated with the GHV
exposed system.
GHV System is used with 8mm,10mm and 6mm
GHL: Structural Silicon Adhesion System:
Structural silicon is used in lieu of traditional
mechanical anchors to adhere the
5’x10’x6mm thick porcelain slabs.
The cut-to-size slabs are fabricated at the fac-
tory and shipped to the jobsite with the struc-
tural support frame already adhered.
C-Brackets are screwed to the aluminum
structural beams, which attach the slabs to
the sub-frame horizontal rails located on the
aluminum sub-frame.
