Direct Release SystemsThe Direct Release System utilizes the Firetrace Detection Tubing as both the fire detection device and the fire suppressant delivery system. The portion of the tube nearest the hottest point of the fire ruptures, forming an effective discharge “nozzle”. The pressure drop in the tube releases the entire content of the cylinder through this nozzle.

Indirect Release SystemsWith the Indirect Release Systems, the Firetrace Detection Tubing is used only as a detection device. The fire suppression agent is delivered via copper tubing, stainless steel tubing or braided hose. Once the tube “bursts”, the suppressant is discharged through strategically placed nozzles within the protected enclosure.

What is FireTrace?! FireTrace is a self-activating suppression system that !reliably ! suppresses fires in seconds. FireTrace can be installed ! in virtually any enclosed space where high-value assets ! are located. Our proprietary polymer tubing will rupture ! when exposed to flame. The detection tubing connects to one ! of our custom engineered valves and cylinders; that contains ! the best fire suppressant agent for a particular hazard.

FireTrace

Protex II

The Protex Series II Restaurant Fire Suppression System is of the pre-engineered type as defined by NFPA 17A, the standard for Wet Chemical Extinguisher Systems and is designed to provide fire protection for restaurant cooking appliances, hoods and ducts. The System provides automatic actuation and can be manually actuated through a remote Mechanical Pull Station. Upon activation the system discharges a pre-determined amount of agent through a fixed pipe arrangement to the duct, plenum and cooking appliances.

Extinguishers

Elements of Fires! There are three elements that make up a fire. If you want to put a fire out, you need to remove one of the three elements.

! Fuel - Combustible Solids, Liquids or Gases! Oxygen - Reacts with the Fuel! Heat - There must be enough heat to get the fuel source! ! above its Flash Point

Extinguisher Ratings ! ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers are by far the most common extinguishers found in the home or work place. They can handle all three types (Class) of fires that you would find in the kitchen, workshop, garage or warehouse, etc.

! A - Combustible Solids: Wood, Paper and Cardboard! B - Combustible Liquids: Cooking Oils, Gasoline! C - Electrical Fires

Extinguisher Sizes! Portable extinguishers are also rated for the size of fire they can put out. This rating is expressed as a number from 1 to 40 for Class A fires. 1 to 640 for Class B fires. This rating will be printed on the label: 2A:10B:C The larger the number, the larger the fire of a specific Class, on which the extinguisher can be used. The C on the label indicates that the extinguisher is safe to use on electrical fires.

Guardian III - Residential Fire Protection

What is the Guardian III?! The Guardian III Extinguisher System is totally self-contained within its own enclosure. The entire discharge assembly, including Heat Sensors and Nozzles are held underneath the range hood by magnetic force. While the enclosure mounts easily inside the cabinets located above the stove.! When a stove-top fire occurs, the sensor(s) will activate at a pre-determined temperature, notifying the main CPU board to discharge the extinguisher"s Wet Agent; while simultaneously activating the CPU mounted Alarm. Upon system activation, the Gas or Electricity to the stove is shut off to protect re-ignition of the fire. ! This UL Listed system can also be wired into an existing Alarm Panel to show activation.
