Firstly, gather pennies made after 1982 as they contain more zinc. Next, use an orbital sander and sticky tape to sand one side of the pennies to expose the zinc. After which, use an adhesive remover to remove the adhesive residue that melted. Then, cut some thin cardboard into pieces about the size of a penny and soak them in vinegar. Place one penny with the copper side down on a piece of aluminum foil before blotting dry a cardboard piece and placing it on top of the penny. Lastly, stack alternating cardboards and pennies to form the penny battery. (100 words)
