Hawk Singers wil l be t ravel ing to the West Regional WELS Choral Fest
at Nebraska Lutheran High School in Waco, NE. Participants will perform in two concerts next weekend. The Pops Concert of choreographed songs done by each participating school is at 7:00 PM CST on Friday, November 11. The Sacred Concert will be held on Sunday, November 13, at 2:30 PM CST in which you will hear all the singers joining together to form a Mass Choir that will raise the roof! HVL is looking for crafters and vendors for our 9th Annual Christmas Shopping Expo at Huron Valley Lutheran High School. The date is Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 from 10:00-3:00 pm. Last year we had 65 vendors and 600+ people through the door. Please reserve your table now. Tables are $45 each. All proceeds go directly to Huron Valley Lutheran High School. ACT Preparation for HVL
Students
The ACT test is given six times a year, and most students begin taking this test their junior year of high school. ACT scores are very important and are used in determining college admissions, scholarships, and even out-of-state tuit ion. For this reason, HVL has taken an active role in preparing HVL students to take the ACT test. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say, nor can you become an expert in the SAT or ACT overnight. HVL administers ACT/SAT test preparation in a variety of methods beginning in grade 9.
METHOD TEST PREP - Online self-paced ACT Prep offered to all students
ACT COMPLETE PRACTICE TEST - Administered in Nov. for grades 9-11
ACT ASPIRE - ACT Practice Test administered in the spring for grades 9-10
