This stylish waterside property is one of only a select few. It enjoys wonderful

south facing views across meadow land and the

River Great Ouse. “Two years ago, I was sold

as soon as I arrived and doubly so when I set

foot upstairs,” says Pamela. “It is a distinctive

upside down house, so when standing in the

open plan lounge you are greeted by the most

overwhelming and magical views. Not only can

we see fabulous countryside, but we overlook one

of England’s largest water meadows.”

“The lounge is a fantastic feature of the property, it is very bright and large, so spacious that we use it as two sections,

with two different sets of furniture and even two televisions.”

The proximity to nature and the location is the main reason Pamela and her husband Nigel are sad to say goodbye. “Living here, you have the

most magnificent views which make you feel as though you are tucked away in the

countryside, but with all the amenities of a market town on your doorstep.”

“The rear garden has been extensively landscaped by a garden designer. We chose our plants and shrubbery very

carefully to ensure colour throughout all seasons, whilst making it as low maintenance as possible. There are floor to ceiling French doors

throughout the house; upstairs three of these lead onto a decked balcony which overlooks the garden and meadow. This is one of my

favourite places within the house; we have watched swans with their cygnets, cormorants and grebes diving in the brook, long-legged

herons visiting regularly and people walking their dogs”.
