Ungarie Central School Reunion For students who graduated between

1970 and 1975

A reunion has been organized for this October long weekend for the 6 classes who graduated Ungarie

Central from „70 through to ‟75.

A reunion ball is planned for Saturday night 2nd October at the Memorial Hall and any

interested family members of these graduates, other ex students, and/or friends are also welcome

to attend the Ball, for a catch-up, chin wag and a trip down memory lane.

Ex- student Mick Martin and his band will be providing the (not too loud) entertainment for the

night. $20 per head at the door, but it would be very helpful for organizers if names and/or table

bookings could be left with either Len MacFarlane 69722131, Sharon Stanton 68721928, or Pam

Thank You The Ireland family would like to say a BIG thank you to the Ungarie Community for

supporting our ram sale at the Ungarie Show. The Poll Dorset rams averaged $1178 for 26

and the White Suffolk‟s averaged $963. A special thank you from us to all the people

who helped set up the pens, unload and reload sheep as well as packing up all the panels after

the sale. Your help was greatly appreciated. Alan, Jenny, Meagan & Tara- Jane Ireland.

Junior Cricket Junior cricket is due to start on October 16. All children who are interested in playing this season, please contact Sal West 69725247 or

Sharlene Daniher 69759262 before Tuesday October 5. (Note change of date) Registration forms are at the school - $40 must be paid on or before the first game (no exceptions – I had to paid for a few last year as people did not pay) We hope to put in 2 teams – 12‟s (Yr‟s 3-6 or ages 8-11) and a combined 15‟s team (Yr‟s 7-9 or ages 12-15) A mini canteen will operate at each home game A meeting will be held with the West Wyalong Junior Cricket Association on Tuesday October 5, to finalise season details.
