Benchmark Used to Determine Cost

• Cost is determined by requesting meter read information from each of the schools to determine the amount of energy that is used at each facility (KWH per year), and to determine the Load Factor.

• Load Factor is a standard industry measurement that determines how efficient a facility is. The higher the load factor the lower the electricity price.

• Note prices change daily based on changes in the energy market.• The Texas energy market is closely tied to the price of natural gas. If

natural gas prices go up, the electricity quote will go up.• Once a contract is signed the price is “locked in” for the term of the

agreement.

Hudson Credit Rating

• Currently Hudson does not have a credit rating due to the unique structure of our organization. The size and strength of our company is highlighted on slide 7 of the attached presentation. Additional information is available through the New York Stock Exchange and researching our trading symbol - JE.

Page 6: Hudson Energy Prospective

Percent of Electricity Created by Renewable Resources

• HES complies with the Texas renewable mandates imposed on all Texas REPS. HES also provides those that wish to procure additional green

amounts of their own choosing (0% - 100%).
