Hubbard Brook Preserve
The Hubbard Brook Preserve was permanently protected when
Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P)granted a 75-acre conservation restriction to
Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) in 2007. The ensuing partnership between CL&P and CFPA promises to preserve the
natural, scenic, aesthetic and special character of the property.
The Preserve offers protected natural habitat for birds, wildlife, plants and similar
ecosystems. The Preserve is open to the public for non-motorized,
low-impact recreation and enjoyment.
The Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) has been part of everyday life in Connecticut for more than 100 years,
providing safe and reliable electric service to homes, neighborhoods and businesses. With 1.2 million customers in 149 cities and towns, CL&P is improving the environments you

The Connecticut Forest and Park Association (CFPA) is a non-profit, membership-based conservation organization whose mission is to connect people to the land, to protect forests, parks, walking trails, and open spaces for future
generations. Members, volunteers, and staffparticipate in a wide range of activities including hiking trail construction and maintenance, environmental education,
