Hub inspection camera
The purpose of the Hub inspection camera (HIC) is toserve as a mobile, ROV operated observation eye, able toaccess confined spaces during subsea operations suchas mating of Connector hubs, mating of Flying leads, andother critical operations when close-up observation isnecessary. The HIC is powered from the ROV.
The camera housing is located inside a protective casing.Focus is pre-set at a range of 20 mm (approx.) to infinite,adjustment is possible. The HIC has an electronic iris.
The HIC is handled by the ROV manipulator and has its ownintegrated light source. According to the specific jobrequirements, it can be equipped in an extended or short armversion. The Protective casing mounting flange allows anumber of optional orientations relative to the extension arm(extended or short).
