How to configure Huawei switches
Huawei S9300 Terabit Routing Switch The Huawei S9300 is mainly
used to access, aggregate, and transmit services across a MAN. As
an access and aggregation switch, the S9300&S9300E provide
line-speed Fast Ethernet (FE), Gigabit Ethernet (GE), 10GE, and
40GE interfaces. The S9300&S9300E can be deployed in enterprise
networks and data centers, providing high-density interfaces and
rich value-added service (VAS) capabilities.
The S9300 come in three different models: S9303, S9306, S9312.
The Huawei 9303 supports a maximum of three line processing units
(LPUs); the Huawei 9306 supports a maximum of six LPUs; the Huawei
9312 supports a maximum of 12 LPUs.

Appearance
The S9303 chassis is 4 U high (1 U = 44.45 mm). When the chassis
has no cable management frame installed, the dimensions are 442 mm
x 489 mm x 175 mm (W x D x H). When the chassis has cable
management frames installed, the dimensions are 442 mm x 585 mm x

The S9306 chassis is 10 U high (1 U = 44.45 mm). When the
chassis has no cable management frame installed, the dimensions are
442 mm x 489 mm x 441.7 mm (W x D x H). When the chassis has cable
management frames installed, the dimensions are 442 mm x 585 mm x

The S9312 chassis is 15 U high (1 U = 44.45 mm). When the
chassis has no cable management frame installed, the dimensions are
442 mm x 489 mm x 663.95 mm (W x D x H). When the chassis has cable
management frames installed, the dimensions are 442 mm x 585 mm x

7. Ground screw
NOTE
The ground screw is used to ground the chassis.8. Front ESD
jack
NOTE
The ground terminal of an ESD wrist strap can be inserted in
this jack. The ESD wrist strap can provide ESD protection when the
chassis is reliably grounded.9. Cable management frames
NOTE
Cable management frames are used to route cables.

jack
NOTE

this jack. The ESD wrist strap can provide ESD protection when the

4. Air filter
NOTE
The air filter prevents dust from entering the chassis.5. A pair
of removable handles
NOTE
You can install these handles on two sides of the chassis to
lift the chassis.-
