According to the statistics from the IFPI (International
Federation of the Phonographic Industry), the
sales volume of the global phonographic industry
dropped by about 22% (USD over 6 billion) in the
past five years till 2003 and the sales volume of
disc records declined sharply all over the world.

the decrease of the traditional sales of music. The
