The CHIPPO 510 C is a tractor-driven drum chipper for wood trunks and pruning. The machine is designed for a drive rating of up to 500 HP, meaning the CHIPPO 510 C is currently the most powerful chipper in this class.An active feed system, two different drum speeds and selection of material discharge via blower or conveyor belt make the CHIPPO 510 C a genuine all-rounder.In the base configuration, the CHIPPO 510 C has a sturdy 65 km/h chassis with tandem axle. Numerous options for the tyres, the pulling mechanism and the loading crane simplify the tailoring to customer requirements. Frame and panelling are designed for a high degree of stability and doors and flaps simplify access for servicing.

highlightsThe best feed systemThe feed system is comprised of a large feed table with slat conveyor, a transfer roller and two horizontal and optionally two vertical feed rollers. This configuration guarantees reliable grabbing and active forwarding to the drum, and at the same time prevents lateral turning of the residual fraction. Bulky pruning are pre-compressed by the vertical feed rollers, fed into the chipping duct and chipped to precision.

Perfect wood chippings:Large drum and long blade advanceThe chipping process is extremely efficient with the large, open drum (inlet height 750 mm) and the ideally positioned counter-cutter. The long advance of the sturdy chipping blade produces uniform shape and size with a minimum of fine fractions. A simple adjustment mechanism on the movable counter-blade carrier allows quick and precise cutting gap adjustment after every sharpening process.

Efficient chipping with two speedsThe shredding speed is adapted to the material on the CHIPPO. This means higher drum speed and hence higher cut frequency for smallwood and pruning, or reduced rotation speed but higher cutting power for trunk wood. The two speeds are realised with two belt pulleys situated on the drum.

Blockage-freeFor wet material, the screen basket can be rotated hydraulically without interrupting operation. In the event of discharge overload, feed is interrupted and is not continued until the controller gives the go-ahead.

Discharge selection: Blower or conveyorEither a blower, configurable precisely to requirements with variable speed, or a pivotable rear conveyor belt (more gentle on the material and energy-saving) is used for discharge.

Sturdy design The sturdy design and premium-quality components guarantee high fatigue strength of the machine and ensure long service life. A special blade fastener with contrary protection reduces secondary damage on contact with contraries.
