CONDENSATION PREVENTION BY CONTROLLING TO THE DEW POINTPoolPak® LLC dehumidification products make use of the best strategies and controls in the industry to provide the highest level of building and asset protection. The industry-leading control systems and sequences allow for the PoolPak® SWHP Series to perform dehumidification functions based on the dew point of the indoor swimming pool environment.

By controlling humidity and temperature levels in relation to the dew point of the indoor swimming pool environment, the possibility of condensation formation is minial.

Condensate forming on cold surfaces mixes with chemically laden air that causes chlorine based stress corrosion on steel surfaces and can pass through concrete and other materials to damage steel structural reinforcements. By controlling the space dew point in relation to the interior surface temperature of the pool enclosure, the potential for formation of condensation is greatly reduced.

‘COLD-WALL’ SENSOR TECHNOLOGYPoolPak® LLC dehumidification systems feature ‘Cold-Wall’ sensing technology. This system is used to make decisions about dew point based temperature control. The ‘Cold Wall’ sensing technology system provides the best building protection, and helps to save equipment costs while improving reliability.

By placing the sensor on the coldest wall of the room, the PoolPak® SWHP Series system can use that information to prevent the formation of condensation anywhere within the indoor pool facilities.

VIRTUAL-TECH® SERVICESThe PoolPak® SWHP Series utilizes the Virtual-Tech® system to provide additional, remote service monitoring for the dehumidification system. Using an Internet connection, factory service technicians can monitor the conditions of the system, make changes to certain parameters, and work to diagnosis service and maintenance needs without the expenses of field service visits.

In addition to the advanced service support, Virtual-Tech® allows for software updates to be installed remotely and provides easy, user friendly, access to the performance, statistics, and conditions of the system from any computing device.

BUILD-ON-SITE™ OPTIONThe SWHP Series is designed to make the installation process easier, less invasive, and at a lower cost. Many equipment rooms are located in central parts of the building or in a basement. This can make getting a large piece of equipment into those locations extremely difficult. Using the ‘site-built’ option, some models of the SWHP HCD Series, can be built, modularly, at the installation location by a factory trained assembly crew. This eliminates the need for wall and roof removals, cranes, and facility down-time. The ‘site-built’ option provides a low cost, highly efficient and simple method of installation.
