INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Mere attending for written examination does not confer any right automatically on the candidate tobecome eligible for consideration for appointment

2. The test is of two hours duration. The date and time will be indicated on the Hall ticket. Candidates shouldreach the test center in time. Candidates will be allowed in to the examination hall half an hour before thescheduled starting time. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall after the testhas started and will not be permitted to leave examination hall before the closure of test time underany circumstances.

3. The test will be of objective type with multiple-choice questions with only one answer being correctamong the four alternatives suggested.

4. A separate O M R (Optical Mark Reader) answer sheet with the carbon impression paper will be providedto the candidates. The candidate has to indicate his response to each question by darkening theappropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point pen. No corrections with white fluid will be permittedand answers with corrections will not be evaluated.

5. The candidate has to bring a good quality Black Ball point pen to the examination hall.

6. The candidate has to handover the original OMR Sheet to the invigilators in the examination centre and

he/she is permitted to take away the duplicate OMR Sheet(the carbon impression paper) along withquestion paper after the examination. If any candidate in violation of the above instructions takes awaythe original OMR Sheet, his/her candidature to the recruitment will be rejected besides invocation of penal provisions including debarment of the candidature for all future recruitments to be conducted bythe APNPDCL.

7. The candidate has to follow meticulously all the instructions given on the question paper booklet and OMRAnswer Sheet, else his/her answer sheet may not be valued.

8. Usage of Calculators/mathematical tables is not permitted. Candidates should not bring cell phonesor any other electronic gadgets to the examination hall.

9. If the candidate downloaded the Hall-ticket without photo, he/she should bring to the examination hall 3pass port size photos duly attested by the Gazetted Officer failing which he/she will not be admitted to the

examination.

10. If more than one Hall-Ticket with different numbers is downloaded by you for this examination, pleasewrite examination with one Hall-ticket and surrender other Hall-tickets to the Chief Superintendent/Invigilator.
