Taking Responsibility – this is our slogan as we welcome you to the HSG TALENTS Conference 2020.

From 26 February to 18 March, the HSG TALENTS Conference 2020 will pro-vide you with the unique opportunity to gain an insight into over 100 companies from a variety of sectors directly on the campus and at the fair itself. This means that you will be able to find an employer that really matches your expectations. Take advantage of this opportunity and plan that first step on the path towards your future career today!

With our wide range of modules, you can connect with representatives from exciting businesses and gain an insight into a number of different companies. Put your skills to the test with exciting missions in the Escape Room, whip up some delicious specialities at Confect & Connect or try out your bartending skills in the module Mix, Shake, Associate. After registration, you can also gain a fascinat-ing insight into a range of companies during the Company Insight event or attend a job Interview. In addition, you will also have the chance to work on case studies at the Workshops and talk to company representatives in a relaxed atmosphere at the Company Dinners.

The career fair on 4 March 2020 is the focal point of the HSG TALENTS Con-ference. The companies will be waiting to greet you in Hall 9.1 at the OLMA exhibition centre.

Die HSG TALENTS Conference 2020 bietet euch die einmalige Gelegenheit, vom 26. Februar bis zum 18. März 2020 über 100 Unternehmen aus vielen verschie-denen Branchen am Campus und an der Messe kennenzulernen. Dadurch habt ihr die Möglichkeit, einen Arbeitgeber zu finden, der euren persönlichen Vorstellun-gen entspricht. Nutzt diese Gelegenheit und plant euren Karriereeinstieg schon heute!

Bei unseren zahlreichen Modulen könnt ihr spannende Kontakte mit Unterneh-mensvertretenden knüpfen und Einblicke in diverse Unternehmen gewinnen. Stellt eure Stärken bei spannenden Missionen im Escape Room unter Beweis, zaubert leckere Spezialitäten beim Confect & Connect oder testet eure Bar-tender-Fähigkeiten im Modul Mix, Shake, Associate. The HSG TALENTS Conference is the University of St.Gallen’s (HSG) official career event. Every year, the conference brings together over 100 companies and more than 1,700 students over the course of three weeks. The format has proven successful over the years. It is not only the experience gained during the organisation process that makes the HSG TALENTS Conference a truly unique career event for students of the University of St.Gallen, but also the wide variety and huge number of different companies from various sectors.With its huge range of activities, the event offers students and companies the ideal platform to connect. In previous years, the event’s modules, such as Company Insight, workshops, interviews, company dinners and the career fair, have proven popular, but companies and students also value the more unusual modules in the application process, such as Confect & Connect, Escape Room and Mix, Shake, Associate. All these modules offer students the opportunity to make personal, individual contact with the companies attending and to establish initial relation-ships with potential employers. The theme for the HSG TALENTS Conference 2020 is «Taking responsibility» and echoes our ethos as a leading business school to inspire our students to act in an ethical and socially-responsible manner. By entering the business world, our students take responsibility – not only for themselves and their future employers, but also for society as such.The optimal framework for students to take the first steps on the path towards a future career during their studies will be established thanks to the efforts of the committed HSG TALENTS Conference 2020 Organizing Team, together with many volunteers. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Organizing Team and everyone else who helped to make this event possible. An der HSG TALENTS Conference haben Studierende der Universität St.Gallen die Möglich-keit, an einer Vielzahl spannender Rekrutierungsveranstaltungen und tollen Netzwerkmög-lichkeiten teilzunehmen. Leider müssen wir feststellen, dass es immer wieder Studierende gibt, welche trotz erfolgreicher Anmeldung an solchen Events unentschuldigt fehlen. Dies ist bedauernswert – nehmen diese Studierenden doch anderen Interessierten die Möglichkeit einer Teilnahme. Nicht zu vergessen der Aufwand und die Mühe, den die Unternehmensver-treter in solche Veranstaltungen investieren.

Mit der Initiative “No-Show freier Campus” möchten wir dieses Thema aufgreifen und alle Beteiligten dafür sensibilisieren in dem wir sagen:

At the HSG TALENTS Conference, students of the University of St.Gallen have the chance to take part in a large number of exciting recruiting events and to benefit from great networking opportunities. Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that time and again, students who do not have a justified reason for being absent fail to attend such events, despite having reg-istered to take part. This is regrettable, since these students deny other interested students the opportunity to participate. The work and effort that the company representatives invest in such events should also not be forgotten.
