SR3420 WCDMA Network Emulator

• SR3420 is a new WCDMA network emulator platform designed specifically for HSDPA (and beyond …)

• Significant signal processing resources and high fidelity RF design enables a rich roadmap of field upgradeable features Initial HSDPA release (Phase 1) will support 3.6Mbps

Future releases:

• 14Mbps

• Advanced scheduler algorithms, dummy-user traffic profiles

• HSDPA mobility testing

• Enhanced uplink (EU-DCH)

SR3420 in U-ATS

• SR3420 will be the central HW piece of a 34.121 Section 9 upgrade for U-ATS Seamlessly incorporated into U-ATS TestDrive SW through S-

API control of AirAccess WCDMA

SR3420 provides Section 9 coverage

R99 and HSDPA complete RF and RRM testing in one integrated system and through one SW application

Build upon U-ATS systems experience e.g. calibration, automation, and ease-of-use
