DESCRIPTION

This is the assignment of mortgage executed by Scott W. Anderson of OCWEN Loan Servicing purporting to convey MERS' interest in a certain mortgage excuted by Eileen Taher. This assignment was central to Justice Arthur M. Schack's decision in the case HSBC Bank v. Taher, a case before the NY Supreme Court for Kings County. Justice Schack dismissed this case with prejudice on July 1, 2011, finding that the attorney in the case filed a false affirmation.
