HBS ERPS transitions to a new Centre of Excellence structure and is renamed as HBS HR/Payroll Systems & Analytics from January 3rd, 2017.

On January 3rd 2017, ERPS will transition to a new service model, underpinned by a new structure which will be known as HR/Payroll Systems & Analytics. The primary aim will be to have a greater focus on the critical aspects of our range of services, and to bring greater clarity for our customers on what we do and how to access these services.

We recognise that our activities are fragmented and our structure is largely built around the SAP/HR Payroll system implementation legacy teams locally and nationally. Time has moved on and we have consolidated legacy systems and invested resources in Business Intelligence covering all aspects of HR and Payroll data on a national basis. ERPS has become more customer facing and by extending SAP HR/Payroll & Business Intelligence geographically, we have an increasing customer base that cannot be supported by more local teams. Instead we will move to one national Business Support team to handle all user queries - details of how this will work and what it means to you is explained within this informational leaflet.

We have taken the time to listen to a wide range of stakeholders including customers and have afforded our staff the opportunity to elect to broaden their experience in other areas of our services. A lot of work has gone into researching and designing the most appropriate model. This new service model received the approval of the HBS Governance Committee in late 2015.

We are very excited by this change and believe it will deliver service improvement, greater clarity and also efficiencies in how we do business. HR/Payroll Systems & AnalyticsCentre of ExcellenceHR/Payroll Systems & Analytics structure is based on a Centre of Excellence virtual team working model, which is customer centric in delivering a catalogue of core services that will be aligned to meet evolving business requirements, new development projects, online tools to support users and the development and roll out of Business Intelligence Analytics nationally.

HR/Payroll Systems & Analytics - New Structure - What will change� All queries and change requests will need to be logged on the call logging

� Single point of contact for all change request forms via http://sapccc.hse.ie/moodle

� Single point of contact for users via Lo-call number 0818 74 2000

� Lean processes for managing change requests from initiation to production will be introduced.

� A Change Request Proposal (CRP) will need to be completed for all new system developments including legislative, HR Circulars, reports, changes to existing reports, data migrations and interfaces. The CRP will be available on http://sapccc.hse.ie/moodle

� HR/Payroll Systems & Analytics Business Analysts will provide support to the business in completing the CRP.

� SAP Super Users Business Support Team will provide first level support to users on issues such as transaction processing.

� Queries that cannot be resolved by the Super Users will be escalated to one of our Business Analysts via the weblog for action.
