HR (CSR) CHALLENGE

About 3HD Media:

3HD Media is an online digital media agency. Since we are a digital media agency we

believe that the world is changing faster than we can imagine and we are now living in a

brand new world in which mass communication is being replaced with mass

customization. Since the world is changing rapidly we have made a survey from various

Management schools all over the world and have come to the conclusion that the below

mentioned skills are the most important for any HR student to challenge & succeed in

this brand new world in which we are living . Following are the basic skills required for

Hence keeping in mind all the above skills we have designed the below mentioned “Live Projects”

to enable you to practice each of the above skills during your Internship.

● Job Location: Anywhere In India. Location will be decided by you

● Interns can form their own group or can work individually

Accountability Matrix:

Since Interns can either work from home and the city of

their choice we have designed an accountability matrix that

will be monitored by our HR (Interns) Department

Each Intern should report on a daily basis either by phone

or email as to what activity they have carried out on a daily

basis regarding the project they have selected. This will

also help the Interns to solve any of their queries that may

arise during their project.

Project on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity

This Project is based on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity mainly

designed for HR Students .

Events for a Cause: (Jobs For Every Indian )

Today there are more than 100 million educated unemployed Indians

with an unemployment rate of close to 10%. In order to bridge this gap we

at 3HD Media have taken up this cause and plan to offer jobs through the

mobile phone to every unemployed Indian.

Students can choose any one of the three optionsgiven below We expect you to use your own social

media or digital media strategies in any options toachieve your target

Option 1:Use offline mediums

You can use any 5 of the following offline mediums to get the database.

For the above mentioned CSR activity each student should collect a minimum target

of 2000 contact details of those candidates who are interested to find a Job as

Helpers (peons, delivery boys etc.) , Domestic Helps ( Housemaids, baby –sitters), Cooks, Drivers, Salesman, Computer/Data Entry Operators, Carpenters , Electricians, Painters ,Security, Plumbers, Mason etc.

How could you collect the database?

1. Contact local Government Employment Bureau’s in your city or visit their

websites.

2. Contact Private Employment Bureau

3. Sarpanch websites or Panchayats Websites (The reason we have mentioned

Sarpanch and Panchayat because they normally have a list of unemployed

people in their area)

4. Government of India Rural Employment Guarantee Schemes websites (The

reason we have mentioned because these are the type of people who are

looking out for the above mentioned jobs )

5. Contacting local NGO ‘s and social organization who help the underprivileged

society, they also maintain a database of candidates who are in need of a job.

Option 2:

Visiting Corporate Companies

In most Corporate companies today CSR is a part of HR and hence this challenge.

Since you are a HR professional you have to get at least one Corporate Company who

would be interested in supporting the above mentioned social cause but the total

number of corporates you have to visit in your city and give your presentation to is a

minimum of 15 corporates.

Enclosed PPT which covers details about the events and why are we are organizing

these events.

Each event will cost Rupees 50,000/- per city so you have to get at least one

Corporate Company who would come in as a Sub Title Sponsor for these

events.

We plan to organize events all over the country to collect the database of employees

who would like to have blue colored jobs like Helpers (peons, delivery boys etc.) ,

Domestic Helps( Housemaids, baby–sitters), Cooks, Drivers, Salesman,

Computer/Data Entry Operators, Carpenters , Electricians, Painters ,Security,

Plumbers, Mason etc.

The data of the companies you will visit should be submitted to our office in the following manner

Option 3:

Doing a small Survey

Incase if you cannot succeed in collecting the above mentioned data then you can use

an offline method as mentioned below.

For the above mentioned CSR activity each student should collect a minimum target

of 1000 contact details of those candidates who are interested to find a job. You could collect this database by doing a small survey in a backward area and start

collecting the details of Helpers (peons, delivery boys etc.) , Domestic Helps ( housemaids, baby –sitters), Cooks, Drivers, Salesman, Computer/ Data Entry Operators, Carpenters , Electricians, Painters ,Security, Painters, Plumbers, Mason etc.

Kindly Note:

For all the above 3 options the contact numbers submitted by

the Interns will be verified completely by our verification

department and Certificate will be issued only to those interns

who have submitted accurate numbers .
