    SIGNIFICANT CALLS FOR SERVICE/INCIDENTS:

    130706-1941-01 Welfare Check 510 Hunters RdComplainant called wanted officers to assist her entering an apartment she waspreviously evicted from. Responding officer explained it was a civil matter and we couldnot assist with entry. Complainant stated she had nowhere to turn. Mobile Crisis wascalled and responded.

    130706-2012-00 Fraud (Attempt) 9801 Sam Furr Rd (Target)Earlier today a white male entered the store and went to one of the registers to attempt

    to get change. The male was attempting to do multiple change attempts to get extramoney (Flim-Flam Artist). The cashier caught on to what he was doing and asked thegentleman to leave. No crime was committed.

    130706-2012-01 Obtain Prop by False 9801 Sam Furr Rd (Target)On July 1st a subject passed two checks that were returned insufficient funds, totalingover $1400.00

    130706-2012-02 Counterfeit Money 9801 Sam Furr Rd (Target)Loss Prevention turned over 3, $100 bills that were deemed counterfeit. It is unknownwhen the bills were passed and no known suspects at the time of report. Loss

    Prevention will conduct video review in an attempt to identify a suspect.

    130706-2041-01 Disturbance 15411 Great Glen LnTeenagers were in the area shooting paintballs at houses. There was no damage doneto the residences and the subjects were gone prior to officers arrival.

    130706-2318-01 Assist Fire Old Statesville Rd/Gilead RdA transformer shut down near this intersection causing power loss. Several officerswere needed in the area for approximately 2 hours to monitor traffic and businesswithout alarm coverage.

    130706-2327-01 Assist DSS 16905 Caldwell Creek DrThis call is in relation to the welfare check at 510 Hunters Rd. The female was refusingassistance from Mobile Crisis causing the Mobile Crisis representative to call DSS totake custody of a 12 year old girl. When DSS arrived the female decided to pay for ahotel room to provide shelter for her daughter. DSS then cleared the scene.
