HP to Provide Print Drivers and Customer Support for Mac OS X Lion
PALO ALTO, Calif., July 20, 2011 – HP today announced printer driver
support for OS X Lion, Apple’s new operating system for the Mac. HP
worked with Apple to allow Mac users to enjoy support for more than
1,300 worldwide HP peripherals and scan driver support for most newer
all-in-ones.
For Mac users upgrading to Lion, current HP drivers will continue to work.
Users with a new Mac running Lion can automatically download HP’s
latest print, scan and utility software through Apple Software Update.
Customers can access additional information and timing regarding HP
driver support for a wide range of HP product lines at
www.hp.com/support and www.hp.com/go/mac.
