Nutricontrol suggest using this wireless REDIN system in installations whose great geographical extension or numerous difficulties installing traditional wired systems makes the installation a huge obstacle of large expenditure. Some of the features of this system are: • The REDIN system connects the main controller to every field unit (irrigation valves, sensors, motors, etc.) • This technology creates a network, or wireless nodes net, with a very low power consumption. • This system may be extended or expanded at any time thanks to the flexibility of this technology. • Simple configuration and low power consumption.

• Managing the communication network.

• It is the bridge between the Mithra electronic card and the wireless devices.

• There is just one coordinator per network.

• 24 VAC and/or 12 VDC.

How the system operates Remote opening and closing of the valves.

There are 2 types of devices:

• Coordinator: Each installation has a single coordinator node which manages the entire wireless network. It creates a bridge between the Controller and the wireless input/output modules (routers).

• Router: This reads the analogue and digital sensors and activates the several irrigation zones. It also acts as a signal repeater, retransmitting the data to other Routers randomly distributed around the site.

• Double function: Wireless module/Repeater.

• 5 Configurable outputs per relay: 4 outputs for latch solenoids. 2 wires.

• 4 Digital inputs.

• 4 Analog inputs: 0–5 VDC / 4–20 mA.

• Solar panel consumption (solar panel + 12 DC battery).

• Battery level reading with low battery programmable alarm.
