Step 1: Primary charging
This process consists of applying a uniform negatsurface of the drum with the primary charging rolltoner cartridge. The primary charging roller is coa

The optical system, also known as the contact imcontains the following:

The LED array, which emits light from two types ofby the formatter. The contact glass refracts the ligLight reflected from documents passes through ththe phototransistor array.
The phototransistor array consists of 2,574 phototcircuits that amplify the light reception output in unphototransistors. The image data is converted anddriver circuits to the formatter.

The fuser pressure plate is held in place by four loin each corner. Place the rear slits in the plate ovethat hold the fusing assembly (callout 1). Lower thretaining clips, pressing on both sides of the fuser
