glitz, glamour & business! It’s not just about Ladies’ Night as the Ladies’ Lunch comes to Hamilton Park. When it comes to events for women, racecourses across the country enjoy huge success with social Ladies’ Days and Nights, however with more and more women leading businesses, ladies’ networking events are becoming an integral part of many companies’ business development plans.

The racecourse is building on the success of recent Ladies’ Lunches by holding a variety of business, glamour, networking and social events during 2014.

“The Ladies’ Lunch events we’ve run over the last couple of years have proved really popular,” explains Kirsty Reynolds. “They’re really designed to give women in business a platform to network with like-minded people, entertain clients, enjoy some fantastic food and hopefully draw inspiration from some key speakers at each event.

“On top of that we welcome a number of partners offering a range of services from business to beauty, as well as taking in the action on the track. We want to offer an alternative event for ladies that can provide some really tangible benefits to their business.”

The first of the Ladies Lunches is on Chamber of Commerce Day on Thursday 5th June where the local business community comes to Hamilton Park.

Food glorious FoodFrom field to fork, our top chefs strive to deliver quality to your table2013 proved to be an award winning year for Hamilton Park and its catering partner Prestige Venues & Events, and this season the team are looking to continue developing the food and drink on offer at the racecourse.

Food plays such an important role in the whole raceday experience, whether that’s in a private box for corporate hospitality or in the Conservatory Café, that Executive Head Chef for Scotland, Stephen Frost and his team are continually looking at ways of raising the standards even further.

“Last season was a fantastic year for us both on and off the track, and I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved, however it doesn’t stop there, we need to constantly deliver the highest level of food and service and hopefully continue to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Stephen continues: ‘We source produce from some of the finest local suppliers available and that has a huge impact on the quality we can deliver to the table. We know exactly where everything has come from, right down to the farmer who has raised the livestock of the dairy that has produced the cheese, so we are sure the quality and consistency is there – we then have the job of turning that into a great meal!”

Prestige Venues & Events have a great reputation for delivering first class catering at a range of venues across the UK. In addition to Hamilton Park they are responsible for catering at Hampden Park, Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, Royal Ascot and The Open Golf Championship to name but a few.

Catering General Manager at Hamilton Park, Kathryn Jones adds: “We are continuing to develop the food and drink offering here at the racecourse,

working with key partner brands such as Ginger Grouse and John Smith’s to provide a range of products to our customers.

“In addition to racedays, our wedding, conference and events business is going from strength to strength. We believe we have a venue capable of meeting the different needs of our customers for all types of events and budgets, and whatever

If you’re looking to really impress your guests then a private box overlooking the final furlong is the ultimate in raceday experience at Hamilton Park.

Kirsty Reynolds manages the raceday hospitality at the racecourse: “Your own private box is definitely the best way to entertain at one of our racedays. The views of the action from the private balconies are unrivalled, couple that with our award-winning hospitality and you’re definitely onto a winner!”

Each box has its own private bar, personal Tote betting service and TV screen showing all of the

racing action. Box packages include VIP admission, car parking and complimentary race programme as well as your choice of catering package, all of which include a drink, and start from as little as £102+VAT per person.

“If you’re after something more social amongst other guests and in the heart of the action then Dukes Restaurant could be for you,” continues Kirsty. “It has great views of the track and you have the option to book a table right at the window if you prefer – it’s also slightly easier on the budget with prices from only £68+vat per person for a three course meal and half bottle of wine.”

On selected evenings the racecourse also opens

their brand to partner with us for the SuperSeal Super Six. It has a great ring to it and also gives them a fantastic platform to promote their services to our customer base, and hopefully make our customers, their customers.”
