HP-1A

RURAL CONSUMER PRICE INDEXFOOD GROUP

ATTENTION:

1. The objectives of the enumeration of HP-1A are to know the prices at the village level for

farmer’s household needs, for the elaboration of the Index of Farmer’s Expenditures

Food Group and the Farmer’s Term of Trade Index.

2. Enumeration is conducted by asking respondents the transaction price between seller and

buyer for each type of retail foodstuff listed.

3. Enumeration is conducted every 15th of the month, or the market day closest to that date.

4. The HP-1A List has to be received by the Central Bureau of Statistics latest on the 25th of

each enumeration month, and at the latest at the end of the enumeration month for regions

outside of Java.

The HP-1A is used to record/understand the retail price of rural household needs – food group, at

the rural district level.

BLOCK I: IDENTIFICATION OF LOCATION

This block is used to obtain complete and clear information on the location of enumeration.

Question 1. Write down the enumeration month, then write the code in the box at right

Question 2. Write the name of the province, clearly and correctly, then write the code in the box

at right

Question 3. Write the name of the regency, clearly and correctly, then write the code in the box

at right

Question 4. Write the name of the district, clearly and correctly, then write the code in the box at

right

Question 5. Write the name of the market under observation, clearly and correctly.

BLOCK II: CHARACTERISTICS OF ENUMERATION

This block is to obtain information regarding the enumerator and the examiner.

Question 1. Write the name of enumerator and examiner clearly and correct

Question 2. Write the NIP (Civil Servant’s Registry Number) of the enumerator and examiner
