How  to  Download  Journeys  Audio    

DOWNLOADING  TO  AN  AUDIO  DEVICE  (MP3,  iPOD,  etc)  1.  Go  to  Journeys  Digital  Gateway.  

Click  on  Resources.    

2.  Scroll  down  to  Video  and  Audio.    Click  on  Journeys  Audio  Hub.  

 3.    From  the  list  click  on  the  Collection  (e.g.,  Student  Book,  Big  Books,  etc).  

 

4.    Click  on  the  story  and  the  audio  will  appear  on  the  screen.  

 5.    Under  File,  at  the  top  left  of  your  screen,  select  Save  Page  As.  

 6.    Change  the  title  in  the  Save  As  box  to  reflect  the  title,  unit,  and  lesson  to  make  it  easy  to  locate.    Under  Where,  make  sure  it  says  “Music”  so  it  is  easy  to  find  in  iTunes.    Format  should  be  iTunes  Document.    Click  Save.    It  will  then  be  in  your  iTunes  account  and  you  can  download  to  an  MP3  Player,  iPod,  or  any  other  audio  device.          

 

BURNING  AUDIO  TO  A  CD  

1.  Go  to  Journeys  Digital  Gateway.  Click  on  Resources.  

 

2.  Scroll  down  to  Video  and  Audio.    Click  on  Journeys  Audio  Hub.  

 3.    From  the  list  click  on  the  Collection  (e.g.,  Student  Book,  Big  Books,  etc).  

 

4.    Click  on  the  story  and  the  audio  will  appear  on  the  screen.  

 5.    Under  File,  at  the  top  left  of  your  screen,  select  Save  Page  As.  

 6.    Change  the  title  in  the  Save  As  box  to  reflect  the  title,  unit,  and  lesson  to  make  it  easy  to  locate.    Under  Where,  select  Desktop    Click  Save.      

 

7.    Right  click  on  the  icon  on  your  desktop  and  select  “Burn  (title  you  entered)  to  Disc….  

 8.    Be  sure  to  have  a  disc  inserted  when  ready  to  burn.
