Site PlanNestling in the Howgill Fells, looking over the town of Sedbergh and the Lune Valley beyond, Howgill Skies is adevelopment of just 12 new homes of four different designs, though all are individual in their own way. Designedand built to the latest standards and finished in local natural stone, all homes will benefit from a 10 year NHBCguarantee.

The Development“In the midst of the undulating rural terrain between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales there risesabruptly a compact cluster of hills some forty miles in extent, very clearly defined by encircling valleys. Thisgroup is commonly known as the ‘Howgill Fells’.”

“They are sleek and smooth, looking, from a distance, like velvet curtains in sunlight, like silken drapes atsunset; they are steep-sided but gently domed, and beautiful in a way that few hilly areas are.”

– A. Wainwright, “Walks on the Howgill Fells”

The four designs provide a range of homes to suit a variety of family sizes, ranging from the two bedroomCrook homes to the four bedroom detached Calder and Winder designs whilst the Knott homes are availablein three or four bedroom configurations.

Whilst the designs may differ, the high standard of specification is common. All properties enjoy the benefits of mains gas, water and electricity as well as connection to the main sewer drainage. They are also among the most energy efficient homes we have built to date.
