How To Use Tradex
1. Go to http://www.bdo.com.ph/bdonomura. Click on Online Trading Login at the upper right
portion of the webpage.
2. You will be redirected to the login page. Kindly enter your BDO Online Banking user ID and password to enter the BDO Nomura Transactional Page.

3. You will be prompted to enter the One-Time Password (OTP) which will be sent to your registered mobile number.
4. Transactional Page. Select the Trade menu.

5. Trading Page. This will be the main navigation page. It is broken down into 5 sections: a. Function Menu Bar b. Market Summary Bar c. Top Panel d. Bottom Left Panel e. Bottom Right Panel

Some Features of Tradex: 6. Quote Screen. It shows the real-time movement of stocks in the market. Some of the basic
columns found in the Quote Screen are:

Close
High
Low
Open
Last
Chg (in Peso)
Chg %
Bid
Bid Qty
Ask
Ask Qty
a. In the Quote Screen, you may see the Top 10 Most Active, Top 10 Gainers, Top 10 Losers, etc. by clicking the market trend drop-down menu and select the desired market trend.

b. In the Quote Screen, you may search for a stock by keying in the stock code in the search box.
7. Order Pad. It is the window where buy and sell orders are placed.

a. Buy Order To enter a Buy Order:
1. Highlight the preferred stock in the Quote Screen. 2. Click the BUY button on the Function Menu Bar (or right click the desired stock in
the Quote Screen and click BUY). The order pad will change its color to green. 3. Fill in the mandatory fields, and click the BUY button.
b. Sell Order
To enter a Sell Order: 1. Highlight the preferred stock in the Quote Screen. 2. Click the SELL button on the Function Menu Bar (or right click the desired stock in
the Quote Screen and click SELL). The order pad will change its color to red. 3. Fill in the mandatory fields, and click the SELL button.
8. Order Book. It shows the status of all orders sent to the brokerage house.
a. Order Status. It allows user to revise or cancel an order or view the order status and order details.
To view the status of orders:
1. Click on the Order Book menu. 2. Select Order Status.

i. Revise an order 1. Click on the Order Book menu. 2. Select Order Status. The Order Book containing orders will appear. 3. Select the particular order for modification. 4. Right-click and select Revise. 5. Modify order in the Order Pad. 6. Click the Revise button on the Order Pad.

ii. Cancel an order 1. Click on the Order Book menu. 2. Select Order Status. The Order Book containing orders will appear. 3. Select the particular order for cancellation. 4. Right-click and select Cancel. 5. Click the Cancel button on the Order Pad.
b. Order Details. It shows a summary of the order entered. To view the Order Details of an order: 1. Click on the Order Book. 2. Select Order Status. The Order Book containing orders will appear. 3. Select the particular order to view its details. 4. Right-Click and select Order Details.

c. Order Log. It shows a history of all actions performed on an order, including the time and date when the actions were performed.

9. Portfolio
a. My Portfolio. It shows the current stock position of the user. It also shows the stock's average acquisition price, market value and unrealized gains/losses.
b. The Realized Gain/Loss allows the user to view the gains/losses after selling a stock.
To view the Realized Gain/Loss: 1. Click Portfolio menu. 2. Select Realized Gain/Loss.

10. Watchlist. It is a set of stocks compiled together by the user for easy access. You may create, view, rename and delete a watchlist.
11. Stock Info
a. Stock Info. It shows a stock's basic information with its historical chart.
To view a stock’s Stock Info: 1. Highlight the preferred stock in the Quote Screen. 2. Click on the Stock Info menu and select Stock Info.

b. Market Depth. It shows the top 5 best bids/asks of a stock.
To view a stock’s Market Depth: 1. Highlight the preferred stock in the Quote Screen. 2. Click on the Stock Info menu and select Market Depth.

c. Depth Matrix. It shows the top 5 bids/asks of multiple stocks. To view a stock’s Depth Matrix:
1. Click on the Stock Info menu and select Depth Matrix. 2. Enter preferred stocks in the search boxes.
d. Stock Tracker. It contains information about the trades of a stock within the day. You may view the Time and Sales, Business Done and Summary of a stock's trades in this feature.

i. Time and Sales. It shows all the trades done for a stock within the day. It also shows details such as time of the transaction, matched price and trade volume.
ii. Business Done. It shows all the trades done within the day and consolidates the trades according to trade price.
iii. Summary. It shows an overview of a stock's trades within the day.

12. Analysis Chart. It illustrates a stock's historical price and volume movement.
To view a stock’s Analysis Chart: 1. Highlight the preferred stock in the Quote Screen. 2. Click the Chart menu
13. Market Summary. It shows an overview of the market's current state. Market information such as the market index, number of gainers, number of losers, number of untraded and unchanged stocks can be found in this feature.

To view the Market Summary: 1. Click the Market menu. 2. Select Summary.
14. The Tracker Record or Ticker shows the real-time transactions in the market. The ticker
displays the following information:
Stock Code
Quantity
Executed Price
Buyer ID
Seller ID
Buy-up Indicator
Sell-down Indicator

15. The following Validity Types may be used when making orders:
Day Order (Day) – remains valid until the end of the Trading Day
Good Till Cancelled (GTC) – remains valid until cancelled by the user or until it reaches the set expiration date of the instrument
Good Till Date (GTD) – remains valid until the date specified when the order was entered
Fill-and-Kill Orders (FAK) – also known as “execute-and-eliminate orders”. Any remaining unexecuted portion of an FAK order will be eliminated.
16. Sending Orders
Posting of orders during the different market phases shall always be observed.
The price of an order should always be within the trading threshold.
