THERMOMETERS:Units: °C (metrics).Always keep the thermometer in your hand or in substance.

• NEVER lay the thermometer on the lab table without a roll guard. It will roll off and break. See CLEAN UP procedures.

To get an accurate reading on the thermometer, center the bulb of alcohol in the material.The thermometer should be washed with cold water:

• Before you use it• Between temperature readings for different chemicals • Before returning it
